There were days when the flowers would get damaged by pests - all that effort, all that investment, gone just like that. Days when she thought "ma-alkansi na pud ko". Days when she asked herself if it was even worth it to keep going.

But then she'd think about the alternative.

Going back to a job with a ₱145 minimum wage. Waking up every day far from her child, with no one to look after her. Trading her time for so little, and still coming home with nothing to show for it.

She was told she was pretty. But pretty doesn't pay the bills. Pretty doesn't feed your child. Pretty doesn't build a future.

So she chose the harder road. She chose to fight. Every time she failed, she started over. Every time she lost, she found a reason to try again. Not because it was easy - but because giving up was never really an option.

This is the story of the woman behind Flowers by Mama Z - a mama who refused to settle. 💐

"Humility always." 🙏

Before the success, before people knew his name - there was chicharon being sold. There was ukay-ukay. There were stampitas (prayer books), rosaryo, and kastanyas being peddled door to door.

This is not a story of overnight success. This is a story of a family that started from scratch - from his lolo and lola, grinding every single day just to put food on the table and keep the family together. 🌱

And yet, not once did he carry shame for any of it.

Because every chicharon sold, every ukay-ukay laid out, every kastanyas offered - that was dignity. That was character being built. That was God preparing him for something greater.

There will always be people who will look down on you. Who will question why someone "like you" is still grinding. Let them talk. Keep moving. Keep showing up. Because the same hands that sold rosaryo on the street are the same hands that built something worth being proud of today. 🙌

Your beginning does not define your ending. The hustle does. The humility does. The heart that refuses to quit - that does.

No shame. No excuses. Just work.
