Academic Track: ABM Strand (Accountancy, Business, and Management)
The ABM strand is one of the academic strands offered in Senior High School under the K-12 Curriculum. It is designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of business, entrepreneurship, accountancy, and management.
What ABM is about
Focuses on business-related subjects such as accounting, economics, business math, marketing, and organizational management.
Prepares students for the fast-paced and competitive world of business and finance.
Builds skills in leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving that are needed in managing organizations.
Purpose of ABM Strand
The ABM strand aims to:
1. Prepare students for business-related college courses such as Accountancy, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Economics.
2. Develop entrepreneurial and managerial skills, enabling students to start and manage their own businesses.
3. Equip learners with knowledge in finance, management, and marketing that are valuable in the corporate world.
4. Train students to be leaders and decision-makers, ready to handle challenges in business and society.
5. Support future career opportunities in areas like accounting, human resource management, banking, sales, and business ownership.
