Panglao, Bohol is even better when you stay somewhere affordable and comfy like InnBox Bed and Bath. It is 850 pesos on Agoda for two, with your own CR and air con, and only 30 seconds from Alona Beach. Worth checking out.

Expanding on a rewarding season of learning, I spent earlier today back with the Union of Enterprising Cooperatives (UNECO) in the City of Imus, Cavite. Serving as the resource speaker for Series 2: The Art of Listening, we brought together cooperative frontliners, managers, and committee members at the DACCO MPC Building to explore the fine art of basic and advanced listening skills.
Building directly on our previous customer service leg, this session was designed to sharpen empathy, elevate communication, and master the nuances of resolving difficult conversations. Active listening is the ultimate tool for building member trust, and practicing these skills helps turn high-stakes interactions into moments of genuine care.
Thank you to UNECO for the continuous trust and for providing this essential platform for professional growth in Region IV-A. Together, we are raising the standard of cooperative excellence.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve as the resource speaker for the 2‑day hands-on training “Developing Practical Marketing Plans for Cooperatives” held last May 21–22, 2026 with the Cordillera Administrative Region Cooperative Union (CARCU).

In today’s competitive market and fast-changing digital landscape, every cooperative needs a clear and practical marketing plan. A strong plan helps leaders understand their members, strengthen their brand identity, communicate with intention, and design strategies that respond to real community needs. It also guides coops in making informed decisions, staying relevant, and sustaining growth in an environment where attention, loyalty, and engagement are harder to earn.

Thank you, CARCU, for the trust and warm welcome.
And thank you, Leading Uneco for introducing me to this inspiring network of cooperative leaders.

Here’s to stronger collaborations, empowered communities, and marketing plans that help our cooperatives thrive with clarity, confidence, and heart.

Expanding on a rewarding season of learning! Honored to have facilitated a session on "Basic and Advanced Customer Service for Cooperatives," dedicated specifically to the incredible cooperative frontliners across Cavite.

Frontliners are the heart and soul of any cooperative, and equipping them with the tools to elevate member care is key to long-term success.

Once again, my heartfelt appreciation goes out to UNECO (Union of Enterprising Cooperatives) for the continuous trust and for providing this vital platform for professional growth in Region IV-A. Together, we're raising the standard of cooperative excellence!

Deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the stage and connect with the incredible team at the employees' cooperative of Laguna Auto-Parts Manufacturing Corporation (LAMCOR) in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna!

Last May 16, we dove deep into "Mastering Listening Skills for Cooperative Success"—a topic close to my heart, as true collaboration always begins with genuine listening.

A massive thank you to UNECO (Union of Enterprising Cooperatives), a leading secondary cooperative union in Region IV-A registered under the CDA, for providing this platform and for their unwavering trust. Cheers to stronger communication and continued cooperative success!

Grateful to have attended the 4th International Conference on Statistical Modelling and Software Applications at Caraga State University last May 6–8, where I also had the privilege of presenting my research. It was an incredible opportunity to share insights from my study on Gen Z preferences in marine conservation and plastic waste reduction, an important conversation for islands like Samal.

A big thank you to the Mindanao Chapter of PARSSU-Philippine Association of Researchers and Statistical Software Users and Caraga State University - Mathematics Department for organizing this event. I truly appreciate the full support from Ateneo de Davao University - School of Business and Governance for making it all possible.

One key takeaway from the conference came from Ms. Josefina V. Almeda, PhD, Executive Director III and Agency Head of the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute. She emphasized that the modern statistician must not only be skilled in statistical computing, programming, and visualization, but also in data ethics and interdisciplinary collaboration, skills we must master to thrive in the evolving field of statistics.
