DAVAO TECHNOPRINT traces its roots back to 1991, when operations began as a home-based computer tutorial and desktop publishing service in Valencia City. At the time, the shop catered to small printing jobs often overlooked by large commercial printers—work easily produced with a desktop computer. Initially, the venture was a sideline for its owner, then a computer instructor at a nearby college.

But opportunities soon expanded, leading to the opening of a full-scale printing shop in Cagayan de Oro City under the trade name ABRIGO TECHNOPRINT & SERVICES. By 2009, the business had spread to the Davao region under the name 4MJA TECHNO PRINT, diversifying into PVC business card production, website development, language translation, and desktop publishing. In 2014, the company rebranded as DAVAO TECHNOPRINT, gearing up for global online advertising and expanding its product line to include acrylic awards and indoor signage. It established itself as the leading producer of PVC business cards in Mindanao, with production volumes surpassing the combined output of competitors in Davao City. Beyond printing, the company also maintained websites and served clients from neighboring cities. Deliveries outside Davao were handled via LBC, with convenient payment options through PayPal for international clients and local banks for domestic customers. Today, under the “new normal,” DAVAO TECHNOPRINT continues to thrive by receiving orders online through Facebook Messenger, text messages, and direct calls to its customer service team. While temporarily suspending signage and acrylic production, the company ensures reliable delivery through partner riders within Davao and J&T Express for parcels outside the city. A strong advocate of sustainability, DAVAO TECHNOPRINT uses recyclable plastics (thermoplastics), eco-solvent inks, and biodegradable products. Looking ahead, the company plans to re-open opportunities for franchising, extending its reach and impact even further.
