📣 Kittl Video is here! 🔥 That means my brand design process is getting an upgrade! I can now make video mockups of designs and present concepts for future campaigns on 💖

This project started with a logo, a few sketches and a vision that got bigger and bigger as I explored Kittl Video. I loved seeing Reverie come to life with realistic mockups (quite proud of my custom bottles ngl) and anamorphic 3D billboards ‼️ in one editor. I repeat: IN. ONE. EDITOR.

There’s much to explore and create with Kittl Video. I was fortunate enough to get early access and now it’s here 🥳

📌 Make it move with Kittl Video—now live 💖

Experimented with designing anamorphic 3d billboards on video ❤️✨

I wanted to make a billboard mockup for Reverie. Then I became ambitious and thought of designing 3D billboards 👀

We’re almost there!! Kittl Video drops Feb 4th 😉

I’m currently developing the brand identity for Reverie, a concept luxury fragrance house that started with a logo, a few sketches and a vision 💅🏽

Reverie fragrances are powerfully evocative, awakening memories and emotions. You know that feeling. There’s a scent that brings you back. To your first date. That one person. Quiet mornings at home. The summer before. That week or maybe two at the cottage. 🏒

Reverie captures the feeling of moments that never truly leave you.

Each bottle is a work of art. Each scent is a memory waiting to be unlocked, to be remembered, to be felt.

Say hi to your new best tea, Mika Matcha! 💚 From ceremonial-grade matcha powder to your go-to matcha drink, Mika Matcha gotcha ✨

Check out the brand design I did based on ’s Mika Matcha brief. I’m obsessed with matcha and went a little extra with the brand collateral (playing with After Effects was fun).

I got to watch Wicked while working on this brand design, which explains why I chose pink as the secondary color. As Galinda said, “Pink goes good with green.” 🩷💚 See one of the Tiktok mockups on Slide 5 👀 I imagined a whole Wicked x Mika Matcha collab. Strawberry and Matcha are a good combination, after all. 🍓🍵

achievement unlocked! i designed stickers and shirts every day for two weeks 🫨 swipe ➡️ for the shirt designs. i presented them in different ways so they’re not all shirts (because i’m a pick me girl). i would love to see these as mini prints and stickers soon! 🥹

📝 design notes:
🖋️ i got fascinated by how the “long shadow” (thanks to the trusty blend tool in illustrator) for “do it scared” made a sort of optical illusion. when extended (or blended), what used to be the isometric top view now appears as an isometric bottom view 🤯
🖋️ when i reversed the spine for the long shadow blend, it looked like the classic long shadow
🖋️ break the cycle ‼️—this was my sixth version (prolly 44th version overall after finessing the details). i love this quote and want to immortalize(-ish) it on a shirt 💕
🖋️ i had a purple shirt and wanted an olivia rodrigo-inspired design. i landed on this lyric because butterflies, purple and great writing are SO olivia-coded 💜🦋
🖋️ “no is a complete sentence” is a quote from THE Jane Fonda and it resonated with me. saying no can be difficult at times but i’m healing now 😌

❣️ the shirts are available on araw ng dabaw weekend! ✨

tysm for making this possible! 🥰

2024 recap (graphic design edition)

In January, I began my Supervised Industry Learning (think internship) for my graphic design training. I designed brand collateral (business card, brochure, and company profile) and created mockups for our industry partner, a printing company.

In February, I prepared for our Visual Graphic Design NC III's competency-based assessment. I practiced a lot and created a lot. During our assessment, we would design a logo, a poster, packaging (die line and mockup), user interface/user experience (UI/UX), and a 3D booth/kiosk in SIX HOURS. That's a tall order for someone who's OC like me.

We had our assessment in April—I passed! I got my first TESDA National Certificate. I was also training for another course, Trainers Methodology I, for which I got my second National Certificate in early July. That's another story. I reconnected with Adobe InDesign after several years to design the layout of my competency-based learning material (akin to modules and workbooks) and other requirements for our Trainers Methodology portfolio.

After that grueling journey, I started working on my graphic design portfolio to prepare for job hunting. I finished my final piece (manifesting Roy Kim's concert in the Philippines) in August.

In December, I went to Samal for an event called Seas and Seasons at The Shipyard. I got to design a Deadpool-inspired custom typeface (well, four characters: LFG!) for a client order.

We're already two months into 2025 and I'm ready for more projects!

🚗✨ All Hail the Perfect Ride! ✨🚗

Introducing Car Connect, a ride-sharing app designed to enhance every journey with seamless and enjoyable user experiences. For this Visual Graphic Design class project, I created a user-friendly UI/UX design and a memorable logo that captures the essence of the app.

The Process:
📌 Design Integration
The brand's colors are integrated throughout, from the logo to the user interface. The logo features the initials 'CC,' cleverly designed to resemble both eyes and location pins. A smile symbolically connects these pins, representing the app’s commitment to smooth connections from pickup to destination.

✍️ Personalized Touch
I had so much fun (or perhaps paid too much attention to detail) that I even personalized the copy—no lorem ipsum here!

🛠 Tools Used
Designed using Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and Adobe XD. Animations were created in After Effects, and mockups were prepared in Adobe Photoshop.

If you're looking for creative brand design and UI/UX solutions to elevate your business, let's connect and bring your vision to life! 💬✨

Yo, cousin! Imagine if Carmy and Michael from The Bear opened a restaurant together. 🍽️✨

✨ HOW IT STARTED
While preparing test questions on fonts for logo design for my Trainers Methodology class, I thought, "What if Carmy and Michael actually opened a restaurant?" This idea inspired me to create the Bear/Beef brand identity, starting with a logotype design and evolving into a comprehensive brand identity system. I had so much fun working on this project! 😄

✨ BEAR/BEEF BRIEF
Carmy and Michael are launching Bear/Beef, a fine dining restaurant that elevates traditional family recipes by giving them a modern twist. They wanted the branding to evoke warmth, nostalgia, and sophistication, featuring a wordmark for their signage, menu, website, and social media.

✨ THE RESULT
Bear/Beef's brand identity system is versatile and dynamic, showcasing its warm personality while maintaining design unity. The wordmark features distinct glyphs for the two Bs in Bear and Beef, reflecting Carmy and Michael's individual personalities. The second B adds a playful touch, highlighting the modern twist on classic dishes. The submark incorporates the slash motif from the wordmark, cutting across the two Bs and using different colors to emphasize their individuality. This approach ensures a cohesive and impactful visual experience across all brand materials.

Mockups, including business cards, posters, and social media visuals, demonstrate how the Bear/Beef identity adapts seamlessly across various platforms.
