A FILIPINO STORY

ME: Unsa man imong ma ingon sa ₱500 na budget para sa noche buena?

YOU: Dili mag silbi, Ma’am.

Dili man kinahanglan mag gasto jud ug maayo.

YOU: Kausa ra man na sa isa ka tuig, Ma’am.

ME: Bitaw, tinuod kaisa ra. Kami bitaw bisag birthday, graduation di man mi mag handa.

YOU: Ma’am paminaw nako ma’am ha. Kami, dili.

…and this is a true story for most of us.

US: EVERYDAY, WE DESERVE A BETTER FILIPINO STORY. Merry Christmas.
