Want your Homepage to turn your traffic into sales?
As a general rule of thumb, your audience will most likely see your homepage first. That’s why it needs to be clean, stunning, and effective. Once someone clicks your website link you only have 10 seconds to convince them to stay. Make that 10 second count!
The Hero
This is the first thing you will see when you visit a website. This usually includes a (captivating) picture, a (great) headline, and an (effective) call to action button. Your hero needs to be stunning but simple enough to direct your audience to your message. Statistically, it takes only 0.05 seconds for users to form an opinion about your website.
Make sure the first impression is GOOD!
The Body
Once you have your audience’s attention you will need to convince them you are trustworthy. This is usually through your brand’s mission and vision, who you are, what your brand offers, who is using your brand, if your brand has been featured by top companies like Forbes, and etc.
The Call to Action
70% of small businesses don’t have a call to action. Don’t be part of that 70%. Make sure to add a call to action. Whether the main objective of your homepage is to sell a product or service, get an email, or sign up for a subscription. Put that in!
You got their attention, you got their trust, now MAKE THEM ACT!
There are many more points to consider to get an effective homepage but that’s the basics for now!
I hope this helped you out! Have a great day everyone!
