NORECO II regrets to inform you that there will be an emergency power service interruption.
Date of Interruption : January 15, 2021 (Friday)
Time: 8:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M.
Areas affected: Feeder 2 of Bagacay Substation
Reason: To isolate the three phase line from Bagacay, Dumaguete City to Bong-ao, Valencia
Time: 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Areas affected: From three phase line in Bagacay, Dumaguete City to Bong-ao, Valencia
Reason: NGCP will work on tensioning of 69kV conductors between strs. 171 (3T) and 172 (B).
Time: 12:30 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Areas affected: Feeders 2, 7, 8 and 9 of Bagacay Substation
Reason: NGCP will reconnect the by-pass at ABS in str 171 to energize Bagacay-Siaton 69kV transmission line
Areas affected: Feeders 10 and 11 of Dauin Substation; Feeders 1 and 2 of Siaton Substation
Reason: NORECO II will load back the feeders to their original substation.
According to NGCP, if the activity will go smoothly, the whole system can be restored back to its normal condition by 3:30 P.M.
All works may be finished ahead of time and power may be restored earlier than scheduled, so please consider the lines always energized. Member-customer-owners in the affected areas are advised to take the necessary precautions. Please turn off all your electrical switches and once power is back, please wait for five minutes before switching on your electrical switches.
