LegisHear is a nationwide legislative engagement initiative that brings Congress closer to the people through community consultations, public hearings, and policy dialogues. It provides citizens with an opportunity to voice their concerns and insights on proposed laws, discuss the implementation of existing legislation, and actively participate in the policymaking process.

Through this initiative, we strengthen participatory governance and uphold the principle that โ€œ๐๐€๐–๐€๐“ ๐๐€๐“๐€๐’ ๐€๐˜ ๐Œ๐€๐‡๐€๐‹๐€๐†๐€.โ€

LegisHear is being launched in three pioneer districts across the country:

Luzon: Isabela โ€” under Speaker Faustino โ€œBodjieโ€ Dy III
Visayas: Dumaguete โ€” under my office, Congresswoman Ma. Isabel โ€œMaisaโ€ Sagarbarria
Mindanao: Butuan โ€” under Congressman Joboy Aquino

The afternoon session will feature Focused Group Discussions (FGDs) where participants can share their concerns and perspectives, together with opportunities for government service availment.

August 15 โ€” One-Stop Shop Government Services
The second day will be dedicated to a whole-day One-Stop Shop where various government agencies will come together to provide services directly to the public.

Participating agencies include:
DA, DMW, DOH, DFA, LTO, DOLE, PSA, CHED, DSWD, TESDA, GSIS, COMELEC, NBI, PAG-IBIG, DILG, PNP, PhilHealth, BIR, and SSS.

๐Ÿ“Œ The One-Stop Shop is OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC on August 15 (SATURDAY).

This two-day event is an opportunity for our communities to be heard, be informed, participate in legislation, and access essential government servicesโ€”all in one place.

Itโ€™s good to start the week with a heart full of gratitude and a commitment to serve our constituents.

Mapasalamaton kaayo ko sa akong mga staff nga gipanguluhan ni Maitet Yoldi sa ilang mainitong pagdawat ug pag-atiman sa atong mga clients nga naggikan sa nagkalain-laing bahin sa 2nd District of Negros Oriental.

Dili man nato kanunay mahatag ang tanan nilang gikinahanglan, apan among paningkamotan nga walay mamauli nga walay madala. Among gibahin-bahin pag-ayo ang atong mga resources aron mas daghan pa ang atong matabangan ug aron adunay madala ang matag usa.

Salamat kaayo sa inyong pagsabot, pagsalig, ug pagpailub. Padayon ta sa pag-alagad, kay ang matag tabang, gamay man o dako, usa gihapon ka dakong paglaum alang sa atong mga kaigsuonan.
