Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park - BTLNP successfully held its 3rd Quarter Regular Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) Meeting in Dumaguete City.

The meeting gathered PAMB members, partner agencies, and stakeholders to discuss and strengthen the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of the ASEAN Heritage Park.

Key matters endorsed and approved included:
✅ 2026 Wet Season Biodiversity Monitoring System (BMS) Results
✅ 2026 Wet Season Ecotourism Program Impact Monitoring (EPIM) Results
✅ Proposed Kayaking Activity at Kabalin-an Pond

The Board also discussed research proposals, long-range patrol activities, and the recent fire incident in Sitio Kalingagan, Cancawas, San Jose.

BTLNP remains committed to science-based conservation, responsible ecotourism, and effective protected area management for the benefit of present and future generations.

Resident of Dumaguete City or nearby towns
At least 18 years old and above
Able to pass an English Test and Typing Test
Committed to finishing the full training duration
Has a working laptop or desktop computer
Has a stable and reliable internet connection
Willing to learn new skills
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Tools & Google Applications

It is my honor, together with Mayor Chiquiting Sagarbarria , Vice Mayor Eslao Alviola, Governor Chaco Sagarbarria, our Board Members, City Councilors, Barangay Officials, and all Dumaguetnons, to warmly welcome Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman John Patrick “Pato” C. Gregorio, who represented President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. as keynote speaker during the official rollout of “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” in Dumaguete City.

Nakabisita napud ko sa Brgy. Banban and Brgy. Barras during the final judging of their Lunhaw Gardens. Nag enjoy kaayo ko sa paglibot-libot ug labi na sa pag-harvest sa mga fresh, tambok, ug dagko nga mga utanon gikan sa ilang gardens! Makita gyud ang kakugi, pagkamaayo mo atiman sa pagpalambo sa ilang palibot.

Proud kaayo ta sa atong mga barangay officials ug residents nga nagtinabangay aron mapadayon ang usa ka mas lunhaw, limpyo, ug sustainable nga komunidad. Daghang kaayong salamat sa inyong pag imbitar kanako ilabi na ni Mayor Ernie "Jango" Uy ug VM Joeterry Abada Uy sa inyong pagdala nako dere.

Usa na usab ka grupo sa atong mga mag-uuma sa Bais City ang nakadawat sa cash assistance alang sa mga grabeng naapektuhan sa RSSI.

Sa panahon sa kalisdanan, importante nga dili pasagdan ang atong mga farmers. Sila ang nag-amuma sa atong mga uma ug naghatag og pagkaon sa atong mga pamilya, busa angay lamang nga atong suportahan ug tabangan sila sa panahon nga labing nanginahanglan sila. Malipayon kita nga ang assistance nakaabot na sa atong mga farmers sa Bais City.
