Our Story
The IRC Escalante Savings Group was started on October 18, 2016 with an initial capital of P80 and as of May 22, 2018 we reached a cash asset of around P146, 000 providing a minimal amount of loan to members, a monthly interest to their deposits, and engaging in business like selling pigs and other household stuff.
This Savings group started as a Topnotcher in Savings among the 40 Savings groups under the management of the International Care Ministries (ICM Bacolod). During its continuous operation, we were included in the top 20 Savings groups and one of the 10 Savings groups to pioneer a Transform Level 2 program with the local members as Trainers for Health and Livelihood.
As a microfinance group, we offer financial services to low income members without a collector and with a zero delinquency. We strive to maintain excellence in our Records, Relationship, and Savings Deposit.
