Here's a task that repeats every month in most accounting firms that handle VAT clients.

Take the purchase and sales records. Open the BIR RELIEF system. Enter the data row by row into the format the system needs. Export the DAT file. Check it. Do it again if something doesn't match.

BIR RELIEF is how the BIR cross-references VAT data across taxpayers — it's a reconciliation system, and it needs data in a specific format. Getting your records into that format manually is the slow part.

We built a converter that does this step for you. Your team keeps records in Excel as they already do. The converter reads those records and outputs a DAT file in the format the RELIEF system expects. No row-by-row reformatting. No manual data entry into the grid.

Your team still reviews the output before it goes anywhere. But they're reviewing a finished file, not building one.

Most tools that claim to "read" receipts do one thing: extract text.

They tell you the words say "Official Receipt." They don't tell you whether that receipt will actually support a VAT claim. They don't check whether the math adds up. They don't flag the ones that look fine but won't survive scrutiny at review time.

We built something that does.

Upload a receipt or invoice and it reads the document, checks the VAT math, and flags anything that needs a second look before it touches your books. Handwriting, stamps, faded thermal paper — it handles whatever is actually on the page.

The demo is live and free to try on your own documents.

There's a version of AI document processing that most people have seen by now.

You upload a receipt. It reads the amount, the date, the vendor name. It puts the data into a spreadsheet. Fast, accurate enough, impressive in a demo.

That's extraction. And it's useful.

But for accounting firms, extraction alone isn't enough. The question isn't just "what does this document say?" It's "does this document actually support the claim being made?"

An official receipt that's missing a TIN. A VAT invoice where the amount doesn't match the supporting breakdown. A document that looks fine on the surface but won't hold up during a BIR audit.

A system that only extracts data won't catch any of that. A system built with compliance rules will.

That's the difference that actually matters for this industry. Not how fast it reads — but whether it knows what to look for.

There's a type of work that accounting teams are really good at — reviewing, advising, reconciling, catching what doesn't add up.

And then there's document encoding.

Receipts, invoices, vouchers — hundreds of them a month, sometimes thousands. Reading each one, typing the details into a system, checking for errors, doing it again when something doesn't match.

It's not the work that requires a trained accounting mind. But it's the work that ends up consuming a significant chunk of the day.

The firms that are figuring out how to handle the high-volume, repetitive side of document processing more efficiently aren't cutting their teams. They're freeing them up to do the work that actually requires their expertise.

That's a different kind of practice — and it's becoming a real competitive advantage.

We get asked this a lot: what exactly is Lead Capture Lite?

Here's the plain version.

It's a system we set up for real estate brokers and agents. When a buyer fills out your inquiry form, three things happen automatically:

1. The buyer gets an SMS reply within seconds — with whatever message you approved before go-live.
2. You get notified on your phone and email with the buyer's full answers attached.
3. The lead is logged in a list you own — name, number, listing, date, and reply status.

That's it. No complicated dashboards. No software to learn. Your leads land in one place, and you always know who came in, when, and for which listing.

Setup takes 3 to 5 working days from the time we have your intake form.

If you want to see it before you commit, we'll walk you through a live demo first.

Miss one inquiry. Lose one buyer.

That's the reality for most real estate brokers handling leads manually — across Messenger, Viber, email, and everywhere else buyers reach out.

Lead Capture Lite fixes that. One inquiry form for your listings. Automatic SMS reply within seconds. Every lead logged in one list you own.

No missed leads. No manual tracking. You follow up when you're ready.

Ready to see it live? Send us a message or book a demo at greenbananaph.com. We'll walk you through the whole thing — no pressure, no commitment.

September is next week.

If your business runs on retail, e-commerce, logistics, or any service that picks up during Ber season — this is the last comfortable week to set something up before the volume hits.

We're not saying you need to overhaul everything. We're saying: know where you're exposed before you find out the hard way in October.

That's what our Free Business Readiness Audit is for.

One session. We look at how your operations run today, identify what's most at risk during a surge, and show you what automation or AI could realistically solve before the end of August.

No pressure to engage further. Just an honest picture of where you stand.

If the last four weeks of posts felt a little too familiar — this is where you start.

AI for a Filipino SMB during Ber season doesn't look like a robot taking over your business.

It looks like this:

A customer messages your page at 11 PM asking about stock availability. They get an accurate answer in 30 seconds — without anyone on your team being awake.

An order comes in. It gets logged, the customer gets a confirmation, and the fulfillment team gets notified — automatically, without anyone copying data between apps.

Your team comes in the next morning with a clear list of what needs attention, not a backlog they have to sort through manually.

That's AI and automation in a real Filipino SMB context. Practical, specific, and not dependent on a massive budget or an enterprise IT team.

The setup takes a few weeks. The relief lasts through the entire Ber season — and beyond.

Here's what happens to a typical Filipino SMB when Ber season hits:

Week 1 of September: orders pick up. Team handles it. Everything's fine.

Week 2: volume doubles. Someone's doing order encoding until 10 PM. Customer inquiries are piling up. One shipment got lost because nobody updated the tracker.

Week 3: the owner is back on the floor doing everything manually because the system can't keep up.

This isn't a people problem. The team is working hard. It's a systems problem — the business was designed for normal volume, not surge volume.

The part that breaks first is almost always the same: manual data entry, customer follow-ups, and order tracking. Three things that automation handles well.

Setting that up now takes a few weeks. Setting it up in October means it's not ready until November — which is the surge, not the prep.

September is 4 weeks away.

For a lot of Filipino businesses — retail, logistics, e-commerce, clinics — that means the busiest months of the year are already around the corner.

Most businesses feel ready in August. Most businesses are scrambling by October.

The difference is usually one thing: the ones that don't scramble set up their systems before the volume hits, not during it.

Automating your order follow-ups, customer inquiries, and inventory alerts takes time to set up properly. You can't do it in the middle of a surge. You do it now, while there's still breathing room.

What does your business look like at 3x the normal volume? Is it ready — or is it held together by your team working twice as hard?
