FMC started as Futureworks Computer Services in 2003 offering encoding, printing and desktop publishing services. infront of Shell Gasoline
Station. It stared with two staff including the proprietor. It eventually managed to improve its services offering graphic designs, photo printing and audio and video services. In 2005, it grew to 4 employed staffers and transferred to Abad Building along Guanzon St. In 2007, it temporarily transferred to the owner's apartment in IGM Building in Pandan and operated with only 1 staff. By 2009, a space opened in Lumad Building and transferred its operations there and has changed its business name to Futureworks Multimedia Center. By then it employed 4 regular staffers and continued to grow its services offering computer repairs and sales of computers and accessories. By 2011 it merged with sister company Futureworks Trimedia Advertising operating in a building infront and operated in a much larger office space until 2013, absorbing all the services offered by the latter company which was primarily involved in graphic designs and production of custom souvenirs and t-shirt printing. Mid 2013 another larger space was reserved at Lumad Building in corner Guanzon Gundaya and tranferred there by September and now with a much larger space to house all of its products, equipment and services. It has now 5 regular staffers and has continued to offer a myriad of multimedia and computer services, graphic designs, sales, photo printing, custom souvenir items and custom shirt printing. Futureworks Multimedia Center's mission is to provide the people with affordable and quality multimedia services and information technology solutions for the people. Vision:
FMC envisions itself to become a catalyst of information technology interest to common people and become a primary provider of multimedia services and IT needs of the people of Gingoog in the foreseeable future. Objectives:
To provide services information technology such as computer troubleshooting, printer repair, and computer sales and parts. Multimedia services include desktop publishing, social media printing, graphic designs, custom souvenirs and shirts.
