The 1st Congressional District Secondary Schools Press Conference (CDSSPC) 2026 marked a historic gathering of student journalists as campus publications from various secondary schools came together to celebrate responsible and dynamic journalism.

The event featured a wide range of competitions, including news writing, editorial writing, feature writing, photojournalism, and broadcasting events. These activities showcased the participants’ skills in critical thinking, creativity, and ethical reporting.

Beyond competition, the conference fostered unity and learning among young journalists. It became a space for sharing experiences, strengthening journalistic competence, and amplifying student voices across the district.
