Finding my Voice in the Truth of God’s love.

And honestly, it wasn’t easy.

There was a time when I thought loving people meant always saying yes,
always explaining myself,
always trying to fix misunderstandings,
and always making sure everyone was okay even if I was already hurting.

I used to feel guilty for choosing myself.

I thought setting boundaries meant I was becoming cold or distant.

But I slowly learned that boundaries are not walls built out of anger; sometimes they are doors that protect what God is healing inside of us.

Jesus loved people deeply,
but even He knew when to step away,
when to rest,
and when to say no.

Love does not mean allowing ourselves to be constantly drained, disrespected, or misunderstood.

Setting boundaries doesn’t mean I stopped caring.

It means I’m learning to care in a healthier way.
It means I can love people without losing myself.

I can forgive without reopening every wound.

I can pray for people while also protecting the peace God is restoring in me.

And if you are in a season where you’re learning to set boundaries, PLEASE DON’t FEEL GUILTY ANYMORE..

It’s okay to choose peace.
It’s okay to outgrow old patterns.
It’s okay if some people misunderstand the new version of you.

Sometimes growth looks like becoming someone you never thought you would become ,
someone who still loves deeply,
but now knows that their heart is also something God wants them to steward.

Keep choosing healing.
Keep choosing wisdom.
Keep choosing God.

The right people will NOT be threatened by your boundaries; they will respect the person God is shaping you to become.

WORD:
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

We can be grateful for our present without giving up on our future❤️

Sometimes we keep praying for a different harvest while continuing to plant the same seed.

We repeat the same patterns, make the same choices, hold onto the same mindset and then wonder why nothing changes.

But sometimes the answer isn’t simply to wait longer.

Sometimes God is asking us to plant differently.

To think differently.
To choose differently.
To let go.
To obey.
To establish new habits.
To stop returning to what keeps producing the same fruit.

Because you cannot keep planting the same thing and expect a completely different harvest.

Maybe this season isn’t about asking God to change the harvest.

Maybe it’s about allowing Him to change what you’re planting.

And sometimes changing the seed requires courage. It means releasing what feels familiar and trusting God enough to do something differently.

🌱 What if the harvest you’re praying for begins with a seed you’ve never planted before?

What God placed inside you was never meant to stop with you.

The gift you carry can encourage someone who feels like giving up.
Your wisdom can help someone find direction.
Your story can remind someone that God still restores.
Your experience can become the very thing that helps someone else overcome.

Don’t bury what God gave you because you don’t feel ready yet.

You may not feel qualified.
You may still be growing.
You may wonder if what you have is enough.

But God can use what you’re willing to steward.

Develop it.
Strengthen it.
Be faithful with it.
And when the opportunity comes, share it.

Because sometimes the blessing God placed in you was never meant to end with you.

It was meant to become a blessing through you.

Maybe this isn’t falling apart. Maybe it’s falling into place differently than you expected.

Sometimes God has to interrupt what feels familiar before He can lead you somewhere new. What looks like loss may be His way of creating room. What feels like breaking may be the beginning of rebuilding.

You may not understand the season while you’re in it, but you don’t have to understand everything to trust the One who does.

Let go of the need to control the outcome. Let God work through the pieces. He is still writing your story, and He is not finished with you yet.

The breaking may not be the end.
It may be where the breakthrough begins.

A thousand apologies to myself.

For saying "it's okay" when it wasn't.
For smiling even when I was falling apart.
For accepting less than what I deserve.
For abandoning myself just to keep other people from leaving.

A thousand apologies to the version of me who begged for the bare minimum, who settled for almosts, who kept forgiving until there was nothing left to give.

A thousand apologies to myself for letting people disrespect me and I still somehow see the good in them.
For letting people cross boundaries I was too afraid to protect.
For choosing to understand everyone else while forgetting to understand myself.
For staying long after I was no longer appreciated.
For confusing being needed with being loved.

Maybe I can't change the past. Maybe I can't take back the tears, the pain, or the times I accepted what broke me. But I can promise the version of me who survived all of it that she will never have to experience all of it again.

She has apologized enough.

Now, it's my turn to finally choose her.

Sometimes God removes the distraction before He reveals the direction.

And honestly, that can be one of the hardest parts of following Him.

Sometimes we want God to immediately show us what’s next. We want the new relationship, the opportunity, the answer, the open door, the clear plan.

But instead, God starts removing things.

A relationship that was pulling us away from Him.
An opportunity that looked good but wasn’t right.
A habit that was keeping us stuck.
A connection we were too afraid to release.
A version of ourselves that couldn’t come with us into the next season.

At first, it can feel like loss.

But I’m learning that not every removal is punishment. Sometimes God is creating space.

There have been seasons where I didn’t understand why certain things had to end. I wanted clarity, but God gave me separation. I wanted direction, but He first dealt with the distractions.

Looking back, I’m beginning to understand: sometimes God has to quiet everything around you so you can finally hear what He’s been saying within you.

You may not see the direction yet.

You may only see what God is asking you to release.

Trust Him there.

The empty space isn’t necessarily a dead end. It may be preparation. It may be protection. It may be the room God needs to establish something new.

Don’t rush to replace what God removed.

Let Him finish the work.

Sometimes God removes the distraction before He reveals the direction and the silence in between is where He teaches you to trust Him.

A man is his word.
If he has no word,
what is he?

He is the echo of a promise,
fading before the sun can rise,
A ghost who wears a heavy crown,
woven of quiet lies.
A vessel built of smoke and ash,
a fragile thread, a fleeting sail,
Who trades the gold of loyalty for
cheaper paths when winds prevail.
All talk, all grandly stated dreams—
so brightly framed, so clear,
Aligned in vision, loudly praised,
until the push and shove draw near.
When oceans rage and shadows fall,
he yields his ground; he bends, he breaks—
For how can one without his word
ever honor the space he takes?
A phantom in the storm he made,
leaving you to bear the stone—
A man without his word is nothing
but a shadow standing all alone.

So learn to leave the places that refuse to choose you,
That only use you—
And worse, watch quietly while others abuse you.

To leave is to live.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is walk away — from people who no longer value you, places that no longer help you grow, or versions of yourself you've already outgrown.

Not everything is meant to be carried forever. Sometimes, leaving is how you make room for peace, healing, and a better life.
