Sometimes, the smallest things remind us of how beautiful God’s creation is. 🐚✨

A little treasure resting quietly on the shore, carrying its own story shaped by time, waves, and the journey of life. 🌊🤎

Becoming Unoffendable

In order to become unoffendable, you will be invited to be offended.

Submit yourself to the Lord, resist the devil and he will flee! (James 4:7)

Offense is the trap set to keep you in unforgiveness, to become bitter, which will defile many, and the enemy’s goal is to gain access to torment, by way of unforgiveness. Just like the servant in Matthew 18.

See the end of Matthew 18:21–35. The servant who had been forgiven did not forgive and was given over to the tormentors. (Matthew 18:34–35)

So how do we avoid the offense?

• Stay in the Spirit. (Galatians 5:16)
• Pray immediately. (Philippians 4:6–7)
• Release them to the Lord. (Romans 12:19)
• Pray for wisdom and compassion. (James 1:5; Luke 6:27–28)
• Guard your heart, including your peace and your joy. (Proverbs 4:23; Philippians 4:7)
• Refuse to be offended. (Proverbs 19:11; Ephesians 4:31–32)
• Keep your armor on. Raise up your shield of faith. (Ephesians 6:10–18, especially verse 16)
• Take the offensive thought captive and make it bow to Jesus.
(2 Corinthians 10:5)
• Think on these things; whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy.
(Philippians 4:8)

Stay submitted. Resist the enemy. He has to flee.

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 (NKJV)

Don’t allow someone else’s mess to create a mess in you. Not everyone realizes when they’re being offensive. Refuse to take the bait. Choose grace. Guard your heart, walk in love, and leave the outcome to God.

Scriptures for Meditation

James 4:7 (NKJV)
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Matthew 18:34–35 (NKJV)
“And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

Hebrews 12:14–15 (NKJV)
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble

Galatians 5:16 (NKJV)
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

Philippians 4:6–7 (NKJV)
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Romans 12:19 (NKJV)
“Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.”

James 1:5 (NKJV)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Luke 6:27–28 (NKJV)
“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.”

Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”

Proverbs 19:11 (NKJV)
“The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, and his glory is to overlook a transgression.”

Ephesians 4:31–32 (NKJV)
“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

Ephesians 6:16 (NKJV)
“Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV)
“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

"When you stop being available to them, they start calling you “difficult.”

Let’s be real for a second: Notice how quickly someone’s opinion of you changes the moment you start saying "no"?
When you’re always available, always compromising, and always putting your own life on hold to clear their path, you're "reliable" and "easygoing." But the exact second you set a boundary, protect your peace, or just don't have the capacity to drop everything for them... suddenly you're "distant," "selfish," or "difficult to deal with."
Here’s the truth:
They aren't actually mad at you. They’re mad at the fact that they no longer have unrestricted access to your time, energy, and peace.
Growth means realizing that you are not required to set yourself on fire just to keep other people warm. If protecting your mental health and honoring your own boundaries makes you "difficult" in their eyes, wear that title like a badge of honor.
Keep choosing yourself. The right people will respect your boundaries; the wrong ones will resent them.

Tired, but so, so grateful.

If you told me a few years ago that I’d be losing sleep, running on caffeine, and feeling completely wiped out by the exact things I used to stay up at night crying and praying for... I wouldn’t have believed you.

It’s easy to complain about the busy schedules, the long to-do lists, and the sheer exhaustion of daily life. But lately, I’ve been trying to catch myself.
Because this exhaustion? It’s proof.
• It’s the job I begged for.👷‍♂️👷‍♀️
• It’s the people I hoped I’d find.👯
• It’s the responsibilities I felt ready to handle.👨‍💼
• It’s the life I didn’t think was possible for me.🛟

So yes, I am incredibly tired today. But my heart is so full. It’s a holy kind of exhausted—the kind that reminds me that prayers don't just get answered; they require us to grow into the people who can carry them.

To anyone currently sitting in a season of waiting: hang in there. One day, you’re going to be beautifully exhausted by the very things you’re asking for right now.
