The Technical Institute of Iloilo City (TIIC) recently underwent a Compliance Audit for its Tourism Promotion Services NC II program as part of its continuing effort to ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The audit assessed key components of the program, including curriculum implementation, trainer qualifications, learning resources, training facilities, and supporting documents. Through this process, TESDA verifies that trainees receive the necessary knowledge, skills, and values required by the tourism industry.

Fire Safety Inspection Conducted
As part of the compliance process, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducted a fire safety inspection within the campus. The inspection confirmed TIIC's compliance with Fire Code requirements, with only minor requirements such as additional signage and maintenance checklists needing completion.
These developments bring the institution closer to securing approval for additional TESDA-registered programs.
