PUBLIC ADVISORY | IMPLEMENTING ENERGY CONSERVATION PROTOCOLS
The Local Government Unit of Lazi informs the public that starting March 10, 2026, the Lazi Social Center will no longer be used as a recreational venue from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
This measure is in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 from the Office of the President, directing all government agencies and instrumentalities to strictly adopt energy conservation protocols.
The Social Center may only be used at night when absolutely necessary, such as for official government activities, emergency situations, or other essential functions.
📌 Important Reminder:
Requests for essential nighttime use must be submitted in writing to the Office of the Mayor at least three (3) working days prior to the event for evaluation and approval.
In addition, all government offices and facilities whose electricity expenses are charged to the LGU are strongly encouraged to observe energy-saving measures, including:
-Limiting the use of lights and switching off unnecessary lighting
-Avoiding overnight use of air-conditioning units unless necessary
-Turning off electrical equipment when not in use
For the Public Market, lights will be turned off by 9:00 PM, except for selected street lights to ensure safety and security in the area.
Let us work together in promoting responsible energy use for the benefit of our community.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
