Rabies is a 100% fatal disease once symptoms appear—but it is also 100% preventable with prompt and proper treatment.

🐾 What is Rabies?
Rabies is a deadly viral disease that attacks the brain and nervous system of humans and animals.

🐶 How does Rabies spread?
It is transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, commonly by:
✔️ Animal bites
✔️ Scratches
✔️ Licks on broken skin or open wounds

⚠️ Watch for the Signs and Symptoms
Symptoms may appear days to months after exposure and can include:
• Fever
• Headache
• Tingling or pain around the wound
• Anxiety or confusion
