this logo didn’t make the final cut… but she deserves her moment 😌
lowkey obsessed with how this turned out, the details, the attitude, the whole vibe??? yeah… she had main character energy.
but here’s the thing most people don’t see 👇
good design isn’t about picking what looks the coolest. it’s about choosing what works best for the brand.
and in this case, we took a different direction, one that aligned more with the strategy, positioning, and where the brand is actually going.
quick insight from my process:
i usually follow a one-concept method. meaning - after all the strategy, moodboards, and direction are locked in, i present one strong, intentional concept.
why? because clarity > confusion.
but there are moments (like this one) where i intentionally explore 2–3 concepts, not to overwhelm, but to:
✦ test different strategic directions
✦ help clients visualize possibilities
✦ and make sure we’re choosing what’s right, not just what’s pretty
because at the end of the day…
we’re not just designing logos, we’re building brands that actually make sense. ✅
anyway… should i start sharing more “didn’t make the cut” designs? 👀
