🚀SOIL STORY 5: An UPSSS Orientation

You’ve got a friend in UPSSS!

Just like a toy box filled with completely different characters, from seasoned Sheriffs and Space Rangers to newly crafted sporks, we all bring our own unique quirks, strengths, and stories to the room. But when a new adventure begins, it’s our shared drive to grow and support one another that brings us into the same roundup.

The UP Soil Science Society is opening its doors for a brand-new chapter. We welcome you to a community where your individuality is celebrated, collaboration is key, and no one gets left behind. No matter where your journey started or what horizon you're aiming for, there is a place for you to take root and thrive here.

Together, we build, learn, and venture out, side by side.

🌱 “Where new stories begin, deep roots take hold, and bonds last beyond infinity.”

🌾 July is Philippine Agriculturists’ Month! 🌱

This July, we celebrate the men and women whose passion, knowledge, and dedication cultivate not only our fields but also our nation’s future.

From advancing sustainable farming practices and protecting our natural resources to driving innovations in agriculture, agriculturists continue to play a vital role in ensuring food security, environmental stewardship, and rural development. Their work reminds us that every harvest begins with science, service, and a commitment to the land.

As we commemorate Philippine Agriculturists’ Month 2026, the University of the Philippines Soil Science Society (UPSSS) proudly stands with our agriculturists, researchers, educators, students, extension workers, and farmers who work tirelessly to nourish communities and build a more resilient agricultural sector.

💚 Show your support! Download and use our official Philippine Agriculturists’ Month 2026 DP Frame and join us in recognizing the invaluable contributions of agriculturists across the country.

Let us continue to champion science-based agriculture, sustainable soil management, and the people who dedicate their lives to feeding the nation.
