As part of strengthening collaboration and teamwork among IT interns, a team building activity was successfully held at Ouans Farm and Resort under the theme “Code. Connect. Conquer: Stronger Teams Build Stronger Systems.” The event provided an opportunity for participants to engage in interactive activities that promoted unity, communication, and cooperation, reinforcing the value of working together in building efficient and reliable systems.

The activity also served as a farewell celebration for the interns of Laguna State Polytechnic University, recognizing their dedication, hard work, and the valuable skills they shared throughout their internship. The event highlighted not only the importance of teamwork but also the lasting impact of their contributions, leaving behind meaningful experiences and strengthened connections among the participants.

As part of our weekly reporting in the OJT program, IT interns presented updates on their ongoing tasks, shared ideas, and discussed system issues along with possible improvements to enhance overall performance and functionality. The session promoted collaboration and active participation, allowing each group to contribute insights toward continuous system development.

This was followed by a lecture and activity facilitated by Mr. Guinto, which created an engaging atmosphere while providing meaningful lessons for everyone. In addition, other important topics were also discussed, including the proposed Teambuilding 2.0, aimed at strengthening cooperation and camaraderie among the interns.

The activity encouraged collaboration among interns, allowing them to exchange ideas and address challenges encountered in their work.

Following the weekly report, a lecture on Software Quality Assurance (SQA) was delivered by Sir Ross, highlighting the importance of maintaining high standards in software development. The discussion focused on ensuring software reliability, functionality, and efficiency through proper testing procedures and quality control practices. Key concepts such as identifying system errors, maintaining proper documentation, and implementing systematic testing were emphasized as essential steps in developing effective and user-centered software systems.

Through this session, the interns gained a deeper understanding of how Software Quality Assurance plays a critical role in the software development lifecycle, reinforcing the importance of delivering secure, efficient, and high-quality applications.

As part of our weekly reporting in the OJT program, IT interns collaboratively presented ideas, identified system issues, and proposed improvements to enhance overall performance and functionality. The session encouraged active participation and teamwork, allowing each group to contribute insights toward continuous system development.

The activity also coincided with the final day of the work immersion students, where we, as college interns, shared our experiences and provided guidance on adapting to college life and new environments. This meaningful exchange highlighted both growth and mentorship within the program.

As part of the RGRR Webmaker On-the-Job Training program, interns participated in a comprehensive lecture on the Fundamentals of Database Engineering, aimed at strengthening their understanding of system structure, data handling, and backend processes. This was followed by an open forum where interns and Sir Ross exchanged insights and discussed possible improvements to company workflows and system performance. The activity concluded with a recap and accomplishment report, presenting the current progress of the web system and highlighting key milestones achieved throughout the OJT period, reinforcing the program’s commitment to practical learning and continuous development.
