eFlexervices is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market. In this role, you will be the technical owner of customer outcomesโhands-on in the code, embedded in the client relationship, and responsible for turning our SaaS clientโs edge intelligence platform into performance wins for top global e-commerce brands.
This is not a support role. You'll be debugging JavaScript in production, writing transform scripts, configuring caching rules, and troubleshooting complex CDN behavior across Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), and custom storefronts.
๐ฌ๐ผ๐โ๐น๐น ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฝ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต:
โข Writing, reviewing, and debugging transform scripts at the edge
โข Monitoring customer trials and reacting quickly to technical production anomalies
โข Using browser DevTools, Honeycomb, and internal APIs to diagnose caching and TTFB regressions
โข Acting as the primary engineering point of contact for a portfolio of merchant accounts
โข Building internal tooling, documentation, and playbooks to scale the onboarding pipeline
โข Surfacing real-world edge cases to help directly shape the core product roadmap
๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒโ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ:
โ 2โ5 years of experience in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or full-stack web engineering
โ Strong proficiency in JavaScript (reading, writing, and debugging in a browser context)
โ Solid grasp of web fundamentals: HTTP, caching headers, CDNs, DNS, and rendering
โ Ability to work calmly in production environments under pressure to isolate problems
โ Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical terms between VPs and eCommerce heads
โ Experience with Shopify (Liquid, Hydrogen, headless) or SFCC is a major plus
