When God Turns Your Mess Into Your Message
When we look at the Bible we see God giving us story after story of hot messes, people who were murderers, adulterers, liars, thieves, cheaters, people who were full of mess and sin, and God not only forgave them but then used them for amazing purposes. Only God can turn a mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph, and a victim into a victory. He is the anchor in our storms of life.
Trust Him, He said in Deuteronomy 31:6: "Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."

Don’t you think there is a reason that many of those stories are shared throughout Scripture? Don’t you think there is a reason that He tells us what those sins were? He didn’t just say Paul did some things that we won’t talk about, no, Paul murdered Christians. Scripture doesn’t state, that Peter said some hurtful things, no, Peter denied Jesus Christ three times.
The most amazing part of all is that the more I boast in my weakness and glorify God for His grace and mercy, the less useful it becomes to the enemy. Satan cannot torment me with a past I use as a testimony to glorify our King!
Our sins may be different, but every Christian has a past. If Jesus Himself were to say today as He did back then, “let he without sin cast the first stone“ John 8:7, It’s the beautiful part of grace and the connection we must all acknowledge in our walk together.
If there are pieces of your past that you cannot let go of, maybe it is because God is pushing you to turn your mess into your message.
