PUSH~
Pray. Until. Something. Happens.

But for someone who believes that nothing happens unless you work, this abbreviation makes no sense.

Not until a few months ago.

What else is stopping you?”

So, I did something out of the usual. I prayed.

I prayed before I go to sleep.
I prayed after waking up.
Went to the church to attend the mass.
Even asked for the saints and Mama Mary’s intercession.

A priest once said in his homily, “Magdasal ka lang at may mababago.”

And so I did.

Wala akong alam sa ginagawa ko because despite being a Catholic my entire life, I almost don’t believe in having faith.

Long story short, for almost a year without a new client, walang nangyare.

Puro rejections pa din.
Income is barely enough to meet expenses.
Debts are piling up.

But out of praying, you know what I got?

I got peace.

Peace I never thought I’ll get amidst chaos.

Peace that helped me surrender.

Peace that helped me while in that long waiting season.

And then it happened.

As they say, “ANSWERED PRAYER.”

Noon, every gising, ang sinasabi ko “Bakit, Lord?”

Ngayon, bago matulog, pagkagising, and everything in between, “Salamat, Lord!”

I am overwhelmed with blessings that I never thought I’ll have (and I’d love to talk about probably soon). For now, I hope that you find the power in this short yet beautiful sentence: PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS.

Mini panic attack sa workloadsssss (and yes, with many “s”) 😅 but not complaining.

6 months ago, I barely had any clients left, income barely met expenses, debts piling up, almost zero interviews, and when I did, I only got the annoying “we regret to inform you” email.

Now, while life’s still far from being perfect, I had the biggest plot twist.

✅ New clients onboarded.

✅ Income almost covers not only what’s “needed”, but somehow, we have enough for the things we only “wanted”.

✅ Slowly, debts are getting repaid.

Old Caroline would take credit for all these wins, but now that I’ve experienced HIS greatness — how he can take all the earthly joys away in one snap and replace them with something even better to remind me (and by me, I mean us), that fulfillment and security come from Him and Him alone.

So yeah, here’s me NOT complaining but celebrating all the blessings He had given.

Maraming salamat, Lord!

And you, yes YOU, reading this: don’t give up. Surrender and PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS. Anjan lang sya. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin ay mag-tiwala.

I ordered something from Chowking then went out to buy something else. Went back, sat for like 10 minutes and wondered if my order’s ready.

I was looking at a brown takeaway bag, thinking if it’s mine. Kaya lang, kung sa akin yun, dapat tinawag na nila ako, but they didn’t.

A minute passed by, and then a couple more. So thinking that my order should be ready by now, I went to the cashier and asked: “Ate, wala pa po ung #4?”

“Ay, ito ma’am,” she said, giving me the exact brown bag I was looking at.

Sounds like another simple story, right?

It probably is but from that, I was reminded of something important: YOU’LL NEVER KNOW THE ANSWER UNLESS YOU ASK.

Totoo nga naman, hindi mo malalaman ang sagot kung di ka magtatanong.

Often, we stop ourselves from asking maybe because we’re too shy, we’d rather wait, or we justify our action with whatever excuse we have.

But believe me when I say that having a li’l courage to ask even the simplest questions can help you land opportunities.

As for me, these are:

“Ano palang number ni Bong?” — got me the man I’ve prayed for *cheret pero seryoso ‘to*

“Can I request for a salary review?” — got me a salary increase.

“Can I increase my working hours?” — helped me work from part-time to full-time which means more 💰

“Can I help you with anything?” — opened me to new responsibilities and eventually, opportunities I can only imagine.

Minsan talaga, nakakatakot o nakakahiya magtanong kasi baka hindi natin makuha ung gusto nating sagot o sa tingin natin, masyadong mababaw ung tanong. But if you think of it, we don’t even know what the answer is YET we are already making a decision and that is to stop ourselves. 🛑

While this is a safe move, we might also be stopping something amazing from happening to us just because we let fear stop us.

After all, the worst that could happen is we get a “no,” which is di naman na masama.

So today, do yourself a favor— ASK!

So my son shared a beautiful story from a video he watched. Sabi nya, there’s a dentist asking: “If God is real, then why are there bad people? Why are crimes happening?”

The man he was talking to asked in response: “If dentists are real, then why are there people with cavities and bad teeth?”

The dentist replied: “Because they don’t come to me.”

The man said: “Same thing with God. He is there, always there ready to save us but only if we come to Him and let Him.”

A simple but powerful message to all of us. Happy Easter! 🐣

Minsan therapist, minsan coach/guru, madalas adviser or minsan, kausap pag walang makausap, ang dami na talagang kayang gawin ni ChatGPT. 😂 And now, thanks to Kai’s idea, it helped me get to know myself a little bit more by using this prompt:

“Using our previous convo, point out my top 5 blind spots.”

It replied: “Based on our past conversations and the way you’ve described your goals, personality, and journey, here are your Top 5 Blind Spots.”

1️⃣ Tendency to Overextend
You’re multi-passionate and eager to launch several businesses at once (Airbnb, beauty brand, digital journals, coaching, etc.). While admirable, this might spread your energy too thin and delay results.

2️⃣ Pressure to Always Appear Strong
Your “What Caroline wants, Caroline gets” energy is powerful—but it might make it hard to admit when you’re overwhelmed or need help, potentially causing burnout.

3️⃣ Perfection in Messaging
You’re intentional about tone, wording, and captions (which is great!), but you sometimes delay or overthink content because you want it to match your ideal voice perfectly.

4️⃣ Undervaluing Rest and RecoveryYou value discipline and consistency, but often guilt-trip yourself for feeling tired or demotivated. This can block creativity or cause emotional fatigue.

5️⃣ Emotional Connection vs. Call to Action Balance
You’re excellent at storytelling, but sometimes your emotional or vulnerable posts could use a slightly stronger CTA to drive the action you want (like sales, sign-ups, etc.).
That’s it! Mukhang di na ko lalabas at makikipag-usap since I have GPT with me lol. 😂 Kidding aside, try it.

While not 💯% accurate, it might help you know something about yourself (that you didn’t know yet) or have new ideas you can use to your advantage. 🥂

I HAD COFFEE WITH MY YOUNGER SELF ☕️

She sat across from me, eyes filled with questions she was too afraid to ask. She had already learned to carry burdens too heavy for her small hands. She had heard words that made her question her worth. She had been misunderstood, labeled, and left to figure things out on her own.

I wanted to tell her that she wasn’t alone, even when it felt that way. That one day, she would build a life where she called the shots, where she didn’t have to prove herself to anyone. That she would turn the whispers of doubt into a voice of power.

So I just smiled and said, “Keep going. One day, you’ll see why you had to be this strong.”

What matters most is how we respond to what we experience in life”.

We all have gone through something difficult; maybe once, twice, or even more.

Nawalan ng trabaho.

Naloko.

Nabaon sa utang.

At kung ano ano pa.

Often, these difficult experiences change the way we see things.

The question is: Do you end up believing that you can no longer have the life you want or you get up, dust yourself off, and move forward?

Because while it’s true that some problems can’t be solved overnight, it’s also true that there’s always a way forward.

The good thing is that you don’t need to have all the answers now; but you do need to take a step, even a small one, starting today. Kahit simpleng change in perspective will do.

After all, every victory begins with one decision: refusing to give up.

So today, remember to padayon, my friend, ok? 🫰

My goal is to give my child a childhood he will happily remember — the kind of childhood he’s proud to share with his future spouse and children.

And it wouldn’t be possible without this amazing man! ❤️ I am always grateful for having you as my partner and the father of our little one.

I always thought “fear” was a bad thing.

Sabi nga nila di ba, “it can paralyze you”. It can stop you from doing what you have to do simply because natatakot ka.

For instance, kailangan mo mag-perform for a company event but since natatakot ka mapahiya, you back out.

Gusto mo maging financial advisor pero dahil natatakot ka na walang mabenta o matanong ng bagay tungkol sa investment or insurance so ung pangarap mo na maging FA stayed the same — pangarap na lang.

But I learned that fear is powerful enough that it can change your current situation; that you can use it to your own advantage. All you have to do is shift your mindset.

Sounds easy, right? It probably is. It probably isn’t. It all depends on you.

Here are some examples:

You want to grow personally and professionally so you can use fear as your driving force. Natakot ka na 3 years from now, 5 years, or even 10 years, you’re still in the same situation so you use fear to push you into trying new things. Improve.

Natakot ka na you will grow old without anything, so you use it to visualize your future self na umaasa sa iba or worse, nag-settle na lang sa kung anong meron ka kasi huli na ang lahat. So you use fear — again — to explore different ways on how to make money, grow your money, and protect your money.

Natakot ka na this year will end like how it ended last year so you use fear to become better, maybe in terms of how you handle your finances, how to improve your health, or how to basically become a better you.

Again. It all starts by shifting your mindset, on how you will view things no matter how negative it seems.
