They say, you only realize how important something is when it’s gone. So for Mountain Dew's latest campaign, we took away three tiny things: D, E, and W. ⚡️

We removed these three keys from streamers’ gaming keyboards and challenged them to keep play their fave PC games.

Spoiler: they couldn’t.

Top players lost control, missed easy plays, broke their flow, and spiraled into pure chaos. All because D-E-W disappeared from their game.

Turns out, no matter how pro you are, you’ve got no game when you PLAY NO DEW.

One conclusion: no matter how good you game, you can’t win without DEW!⚡️

W, A, S, D, E, F are the most used keys in PC gaming⌨️—there, hiding in plain sight is what everyone calls us: DEW!

To prove that Mountain Dew is essential to every game, we did something no other brand dared to do: remove ourselves from the game.

We created custom keyboards with no D-E-W keys, challenged everyone from game streamers to e-sports pros to play and watched the chaos unfold!
