SM Prime Withdraws Proposal for Baguio City Public Market Redevelopment
BAGUIO CITY - SM Prime Holdings has officially withdrawn its proposal for the redevelopment of the Baguio City Public Market, according to the Baguio City Public Information Office (PIO).
The decision comes after a prolonged period of consultations, deliberations, and public debate involving city officials, market vendors, heritage groups, and local stakeholders. The proposed project generated mixed reactions, with concerns raised over heritage preservation, vendor welfare, and the overall impact on the city’s cultural identity.
Baguio PIO stated that the withdrawal marks the conclusion of the proposal’s review process, which underscored the strong public interest and participatory governance in the city. Moving forward, the local government is expected to reassess its options regarding the future development of the public market.

BAGUIO CITY - Miss Teen Baguio 2025 successfully conducted its Closed-Door Interview and Advocacy Presentation at Tuscany Basic Urban State, providing candidates with a professional venue to articulate their advocacies and personal visions. The activity formed a crucial part of the preliminary judging process.
Dressed in High-End Inabel Casual, the candidates highlighted Cordilleran culture while confidently presenting advocacies centered on youth empowerment and community involvement. The Miss Teen Baguio 2025 Organization expressed its gratitude to Tuscany Basic Urban State for the support and venue that contributed to the smooth and meaningful ex*****on of the event.

VORTEX MODELS INTERNATIONAL RELEASES CHRISTMAS MUSIC VIDEO IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LUMERAS STUDIO

Baguio City - In celebration of the holiday season, Vortex Models International, in partnership with Lumeras Studio, has released a Christmas music video presentation titled “Like It’s Christmas,” showcasing creativity, youth, and collaboration across iconic locations in Baguio City.
The project is a non-commercial holiday media presentation, inspired by the original song “Like It’s Christmas” by the Jonas Brothers, created solely for Christmas, artistic, and promotional purposes. No copyright ownership of the music is claimed.
The music video features members of Vortex Models Baguio, highlighting their versatility not only in modeling but also in performance and movement. The choreography was led by Earl Ross 101, whose direction brought a festive and energetic visual narrative aligned with the spirit of the season.
Direction of the project was handled by Vortex Entertainment, in collaboration with Earl Ross 101 and Lumeras Studio, ensuring a polished production that reflects both professionalism and holiday warmth.
Filming took place across several well-known landmarks in Baguio City, including SM City Baguio, Post Office Park along Upper Session Road, Porta Vaga on Session Road, and Palace Hotel in Legarda, further emphasizing the city’s vibrant atmosphere during the Christmas season.
According to the organizers, the project aims to promote unity, creativity, and positive collaboration within the local creative industry while spreading joy and festive cheer to the community.
The Christmas music video has been released on social media platforms, inviting the public to celebrate the season through art, music, and shared creativity.
