Studio Ponkan, A Primer.

Studio Ponkan is a graphic and design studio situated at 1022 G Lorex Avenue, Tanada Subdivision, Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City. It is owned and solely managed by Jonathan Paglicawan, an alumni of Philippine Women’s University, with a degree in Arts, Major in Visual Communication. Its juridical personality as Sole Proprietorship is duly registered with the Department of Trade and Industry sometime in August 2018 and later on, it availed of the benefits provided for under the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise Law (BMBE Law). In pursuit of its commitment to fulfill its social responsibility, the Management has complied with the statutory requirements provided for in engaging a business here in the country by registering with the Department of Labor and Employment (Rule 1020), Social Security System, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Pag-IBIG Fund, securing a permit to operate from the Local Government of Valenzuela City, and with the Bureau of Internal Revenue RDO 024.

HUMBLE BEGINNING

On the first quarter of its operation, the Team strived hard to establish its brand identity; engaged tremendous efforts in marketing and advertising techniques in order to introduce itself to the public. Thereafter, all the efforts were paid-off since its sales went sky-rocketing, of course with a reasonable provision for profit margin. There’s this kind of belief that, “if your business won’t make it on the first three months of its operations, decide as early as now whether to continue it or not.” We decided to continue, face further risks

THE MANAGEMENT

Studio Ponkan is composed of three (3) departments, namely: (1) The Creative Team; (2) The Marketing Team; and (3) The Administrative Team.

SERVICES OFFERED

Our primary line of service are as follows: (1) Photography Services; and (2) Graphic and Design Services.

In the field of Graphic and Design, we basically offer Branding and Re-Branding services, for newly established business venture without existing brand identity and even for those which had been in the industry for a long period of time already. Aside from that, we also offer Social Media Management. We all know that, Social Media, has already established its reputation as the modern media for advertising, Aside from being free, social media opens a variety of business opportunity such as but not limited to (1) of course, generating leads; (2) boosting sales; (3) increasing brand awareness; (4) promoting content; (5) going viral; (6) sourcing content; (7) reputation management; (8) customer and audience engagement; and (9) customer service and customer support.

While in Photography, we primarily cater (1) Portrait Photography; (2) Product Photography; and (3) Fashion Photography.

Lastly, we also traversed the path of Events Management, however, we limit our participation thereto with (1) Photo Booth and Photo Coverage only since photography is part of our forte. In the last quarter of 2018, Studio Ponkan introduced its studio-like photo booth setup showcasing proper light setup plus the correct camera settings that suits the venue. Our aim is to let the guests feel that they are inside our studio while taking an active participation with our photo booth. Here, we make sure that the client’s budget meets their expectation because we believe that, an event is once in a lifetime.
