Roque in Canada for climate program 🍃 Bukidnon Governor Oneil Roque is in Victoria City, Vancouver, Canada for a technical learning exchange aimed at strengthening the capacity of LGUs and communities to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and the adverse impacts of climate change.
Roque said he wants to learn how to take advantage of the Bukidnon coffee program in order to address climate and resiliency-related concerns.
Roque joins 5 other governors namely Bohol Governor Erico Aris Aumentado, Kalinga Governor James Edduba, Davao de Oro Governor Raul Mabanglo, Northern Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan and Aklan Governor Jose Enrique Miraflores.
The trip, sponsored by Alinea International Ltd. and supported by the Global Affairs Canada, is under the Governance for Climate and Disaster Resilience (Gov-CDR) Program in Victoria City.
