Why I Started Social Media Management??š¤
Becoming a mom changed everythingāincluding how I viewed my career.
After nearly four years in the fast-paced food industry, I found myself craving more flexibility, creativity, and purpose. I had a natural talent for storytelling, a passion for branding, and a strong ability to connect with people. What I didnāt realize at the time was that these exact skills would lead me into the world of social media management.
As a mom, I wanted a career that allowed me to work from home, be fully present for my child, and still feel fulfilled both personally and professionally. Thatās when I discovered social media managementāa space where I could build a business, express my creativity, and collaborate with brands I truly believe in⦠all while staying close to my family.
Was I an expert in social media? Not at all.
But what I did have was determination, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn. I immersed myself in content creation, studied trends, explored tools like Canva and scheduling platforms, and started supporting small businesses in showing up authentically online.
Today, as a new social media manager and full-time mom, I help brands transform their voice into visuals and their followers into loyal customersāone meaningful post at a time.
If youāve ever wondered whether itās ātoo lateā to start something new, let me be the reminder that itās never too late to begin again. You can start from scratch and make it workāespecially when you lead with passion, purpose, and a little bit of mom magic. š»āØ
