5 Tips to Avoid Fake Online Sellers

Not all sellers you see on facebook groups and pages are legit.
Some of them will take photos of stocks and items which are not theirs.
They even show photos of other sellers with their customers on a succesfull deal.
Here are some tips to avoid getting scammed.

1. If you want to order from a seller, ask to show a photo of the item you want. Along with
a note beside with your written name on the note.

2. If the seller is payment first through money remittance before shipping the item,
Make sure the Receiving Name is the same Name of the person whom you have contacted with.

3. Ask them personally if they have photos of proof of legitimacy. A seller knows what
pictures they will send. Some examples are pictures with past customers or pictures with LBC/DHL
deliveries.

4. Scammers are usually persistent. They will send lots of messages to you as if they are
so much in need of your money. Parang atat na atat sila makuha ang iyong pera bago ka nila
i-block. Yung iba susungitan ka nila as if ikaw pa may kasalanan.

5. (optional) Some legit sellers have their own Lazada and shoppee page. Ask if they have
shops on those website/application. Its hard to scam someone on Lazada and shoppee.
Chinese Scammers however has this strategy were they will ask your "WeChat" then scam you there.

Avoid these Scammers.

1. Nokia, HP/DELL laptop and Iphone giveaway on facebook.

There are many FB post recently with a photo of Nokia phones, Apple Iphones and HP Laptops accompanied with a caption such as:

-Free Giveaway.
-To the first 100 people who comment here.
-Share this post to get _______ for free.
-Kapag ang pangalan niyo ay tumapat sa A,B,C,D..... comment niyo ang iyong number.

These post are fake. Some of them will ask personal information about you and your credit card numbers. Others will ask for a shipping fee then ship with nothing. No one will giveaway such a lot of items on facebook, malulugi sila.

2. Sympathy on Messages

Random People who personally message you and get your sympathy then ask for money.
These people generally have a script or story ready to be sent. They make sad stories like:

- May baby ako wala akong pambili ng gatas at diaper
- May sakit yung aking tito, lola, anak, kapatid, etc. Nangangailangan po ako ng tulong.

Make sure to check all of their photos and information before deciding if what their saying is true. You can ask a close relative of him/her from his/her friends list if they really do have a problem.

If the person you're talking to has a history of gambling, never help him/her.

If you help these scammers, they will block you.

3. Hidden networkers

These networkers are the unethical ones wherein they would post ads and message people particularly young ones about a so called "job". Except when they did meetup with these networkers, they will be surprised by an unwanted seminar. The networkers then ask their victims for a conclusion after the seminar. Its either they join or buy their products.
They are so called hidden networkers because they deny at first that they arent part of Networking.

To avoid these:

- Check first their profile. If they have photos with many people showing a hand sign. its a networker.
- Networkers post a lot of motivational stuff on their wall.
- The person youre talking to isnt very close to you but wants to meetup after 3 days of chatting.
- They have photos of expensive stuff, but you know yourself they arent rich.

Thank you for reading, i will post more of these information soon.

3 Online tactics by Scammers

1. Money pictures (Litrato ng pera)

This is a srategy known to instantly get the attention of anyone young or old. Usually, this strategy is used by recruiters or money launderers in doing their activity in which they
accompany their post with interesting captions. Such as:

and many more.

2. Denying (Pagtanggi)

These online posts usually on facebook are made by people who deny their first statement once you have message or met up with them. Such as:

- Hindi ito scam
- Hindi ito Networking
- Hindi kelangan maglabas ng pera

and many more. Itatanggi nila ang mga paratang yan pero kapag nagusap na
ay scam, networking, may investment pala.

3. Using celebrities (paggamit ng mga artista)

These post are usually seen with a photo of a celebrity giving out gifts, cash or showing of expensive items. The scammer or original poster use a similar name to the celebrity.
Scammers usually captioned their post to attract people who are in need of help or aid.
Then they will ask the commentors or people that personally message them some GCASH.
Example of some celebrities used:

- Manny pacquiao
- Kuya willie

3 Reasons why MLM is not for students

Reasons why:
1. Its time consuming.

It will take all the time everyday in hustling to get invites hence students wont
have proper time to focus on studying. A student wont finished his/her work
particularly those that take lots of time to do. For example, Thesis, projects,
internships and board exam studying.

There are many students whom actually failed their school while the leaders themselves encourage the young members to focus more on their network rather than their own studies and careers.

"A person must follow on what makes them passionate and not what others tell them to"

2. The network

Unless the student is studying in a rich university and has rich friends, people
generally wont invest or try to invest in young students or entrepreneurs.
The network of an average students from an average university mostly consist of also students and Most of them dont have any backgrounds on making money from businesses or even jobs.

The margin of getting anyone to invest as a student is niche unless one of those
students does have experience in working while studying such as office work or
Self employed. Its hard for students to convince older and more experience people to be part of the network Which they themselves arent even sure if they will earn big.

Networking leaders then start mindsetting their downlines to keep them pursuing
even if their studies are at stake and they cannot even recruit anyone.
It is advisable to quit before any harm in a student's career is done.

"Quitting is not an option unless you lose a lot more than what you can gain."

3. Its a membership and not a business.

A student should keep in mind that networking is not a business just like what
networkers say. So students cant do it passively or as a side racket.
Its more of a membership were all the products, earnings and licenses
are handled by the company itself. A networker does not own any shares of the company so they dont own any parts of the business at all. Its comparable to a real estate job were the company permits their salesperson to use their name and image to sell the products/services.

A business person normally pays their taxes. In the case of MLM, The company handles the tax and the members just handles the selling and recruiting.
A networker cannot call themselves business persons if they themselves dont pay their taxes upfront like in a government institution.
They would argue that the taxes are part of the initial payment.
However, the company still handles the payment and if the members do earn from the network side. They do not pay the taxes, they earn in full.
