I extend my 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 for expressing its strong support for the immediate passage of House Bills Nos. 4744, 4745, and 5939, which I authored in the 20th Congress.

I am deeply honored and grateful that even leaders and institutions beyond Mandaue City recognize the importance of these legislative measures aimed at strengthening access to quality education and expanding opportunities for our fellow Filipinos.

HB 4744 seeks to institutionalize a comprehensive voucher assistance program for learners in private basic education, thereby expanding access and
affordability for families, especially those in underserved communities;

HB 4745 proposes the establishment of Last Mile Schools in geographically isolated, disadvantaged, and conflict-affected areas, ensuring equitable access to education for learners who are most at risk of exclusion;

HB 5939, likewise, seeks to amend the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 to grant greater flexibility in curriculum sequencing and pedagogical approaches thereby improving learner outcomes and empowering teachers to adapt instruction to classroom realities.
