Many Ecommerce businesses I spoke with think they have an abandoned cart flow but actually have an abandoned checkout flow.

An abandoned checkout flow captures people who initiated the payment process but did not complete the purchase.

The thing is, almost 70% don’t even reach the checkout page. They just add things to their cart, then for some reason leave the site.

Which means lost potential sales when not addressed. To be able to capture them, the “add to cart” trigger should be used instead.

So, just a little PSA to anyone using Klaviyo — please please please check the trigger of your abandoned cart flows.

Heads up, E-Commerce businesses!

Google and Yahoo are getting serious about spam. By Feb 1st, 2024, you must get your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC sorted, especially if you're sending bulk emails (> 5,000 per day).

Think of them as your inbox bouncers:

> SPF: Guest list for authorized senders. No impersonators allowed!

> DKIM: Digital signature for untampered emails. No fishy business!

> DMARC: Rulebook for emails that fail the test. Quarantine, reject? You choose!

Why care? Because good deliverability means:

> More eyes on your offers
> Higher open rates and click-throughs
> Happy customers who don't have to dig through spam to find your emails.

Don't get ghosted. Get your email authentication sorted ASAP.

now i better understand why strategy call scripts/ guides were made the way they are:

— coming to the call without the intention of closing (/winning)
— filled with a lot of pauses/ silences and being comfortable with it
— using a clear, calm, not-in-a-hurry tone of voice
— actively/attentively listening what the other person has to say and using the same words they used back to them

it’s an art of negotiation — a process of ✨discovery✨ — one that induces conversation and establishes trust

Imagine spending time and effort on your email only for it to end up in spam. Identify what's hurting your sender reputation and fix it fast 👏🏻

2️⃣ Automation is great, but don't set it and forget it:
Monitor and test your automated workflows to make sure they're running well and delivering the results you want.

3️⃣ Personalization is key:
Segmenting subscribers based on their behavior, demographics, interests, and preferences helps deliver more personalized and relevant content to them.

4️⃣ Test before you write it off:
