He does everything just right and on time, but people can never completely understand what he is doing. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NCV)

What looks like a delay to you, could be His wisdom that is at work for your good.
I was reminded once again of the story in the bible about Lazarus.
There was this man whom Jesus loved. He was terminally ill, and upon knowing about it, He did not rush to heal Him.
Maybe if we were a part of the story, we could have said, “Cmon Jesus! Do not delay! I thought you love Lazarus? Then heal your friend instantly!” But of course, the ways and thoughts of God are higher than ours. There was a higher reason why He did not rush things. It could be a delay to us, but in His time table, it wasn’t.
How many of us feel that He has forgotten about us? Do we say “Lord, what’s taking you so long to act and make it happen?”
Dear brothers and sisters, wherever you are right now, may you remember that what you are seeing is just a tiny portion compared to what God sees. As they say,
do not put a period to where God has only placed a comma.
“From ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.” Isaiah 64:4
He is working in behalf of those who trust Him. And as His wisdom proves to be greater and higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8), this same wisdom is at work for us and not against us. We might not be seeing His instant answer to our prayers, but trust that He knows, He hears and He gives what we need, if it is according to His will.
And now, as we wait on Him and on His timing, may we remember the truth that His plans are far greater than what we have imagined. May this story remind us that to those who love Him, time will come that we will see His glory right before our eyes.
He honors the heart, who waits for His ways and His purposes.
For what no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love Him (1 Cor. 2:9).
