FIESTA 2025
Sto Nino de Pandacan🙏🏻♥️🎉🪅

The BULING-BULING Festival is a religious and cultural celebration in Manila, Philippines that honors the child Jesus. It takes place annually on the third Saturday of January.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE FESTIVAL?

Street dancing: Pandaqueños, or residents of Pandacan, dance in traditional Filipino costumes to the beat of marching bands.

Procession: A grand procession led by the Sto. Niño image marches through the streets of Pandacan.

Holy Mass: A solemn mass is held to mark the spiritual significance of the occasion.

Food stalls: Traditional Filipino food is sold.

Community programs: Programs are held to foster a sense of unity and pride in the area.

HISTORY
In 2005, the Manila City Council declared the Buling-Buling festival to be Manila's official cultural dance identity.

The Catholic Church and the Iglesia Filipina Indepiendente (IFI) or Aglipayans have jointly participated in the festival since 2007.

PURPOSE
The festival celebrates the town's patron, Santo Niño, and pays homage to the child Jesus Christ. It also highlights the cultural heritage of Pandacan.
