In honor of Jose Rizal's 163rd birthday, the NHCP Museo ni Jose Rizal Fort Santiago, in collaboration with the Philippine Consulate General in Milan, Bagong Pilipinas, Sentro Rizal – Milan, Order of the Knights of Rizal, Kunst Filipino, and Art Show Philippines, simultaneously presents an art exhibit entitled "Ako Si Rizal: Contemporary Interpretations From Telesforo Alayon Sucgang's Portrait of Rizal." The exhibition feature creations of 20 contemporary Filipino artists, each of whom presents distinctive interpretations of Sucgang's Portrait of Rizal on a global platform. This facet of the show aims to demonstrate the enduring impact and relevance of Rizal's image in modern Filipino art.

The exhibition will take place concurrently in Manila on June 19, 2024, and Milan, Stabbia, and Florence from June 12–30, 2024.

I am extremely grateful of the chance and am blessed to be a part of this exhibit.
