KEEP CALM AND READ ON
"Bakit hindi na natapos ang aking paghihirap? Bakit hindi na gumaling ang mga sugat ko?
Talaga bang wala nang lunas ito? Nais mo bang ako’y mabigo,
gaya ng isang batis na natutuyo sa tag-araw?" Jeremias 15:18

Dumaan ka na ba sa isang napakatinding pagsubok to the point na dumaing ka na rin at kinuwestyun mo ang Diyos tulad ng pagkakatanong ni Jeremias? Dumaing si Jeremias sa Diyos dahil sa dami ng kalaban niyang nanlalait sa kanya (Jeremias 15:10). The way he questioned God definitely sounds desperate. Kung ikaw ay dumaan o dumadaan sa ganitong sitwasyon, siguradong makaka-relate ka sa paghihirap na sinasabi ni Jeremias.

But as always, God has a solution to everything. Those trying times when we think there’s no end to our suffering, those dark moments when we can’t see the end of the tunnel, palaging may sagot ang Panginoon. Sagot na nagbibigay kasiguraduhan sa atin na Siya ay nakikinig, at tayo ay Kanyang tutulungan.
Let’s keep calm and read on. Ano nga ba ang mga sumunod sa verse 18? This is what the Lord says in verses 19 and 20, "Kung manunumbalik ka, tatanggapin kita, at muli kitang gagawing lingkod ko. Kung magsasalita ka ng mga bagay na may kabuluhan, at hindi ng walang kabuluhan, muli kitang gagawing propeta. Lalapit sa iyo ang mga tao, at hindi ikaw ang lalapit sa kanila. Sa harapan ng mga taong ito’y gagawin kitang isang matibay na pader na tanso. Lalabanan ka nila, ngunit hindi sila magtatagumpay. Sapagkat ako’y sasaiyo upang ingatan ka at panatilihing ligtas."

What an assurance that our Lord is faithful and all-powerful! He can indeed turn our mourning into dancing, our sorrow into joy! He did not only promise to take us out of the ordeal, but He also guaranteed our acceptance, promotion, and protection! And to reinforce this promise of His to Jeremiah and to yours as well, read on … "Ililigtas kita sa kamay ng masasama at iingatan laban sa mararahas" (v. 21).
