Leaders ran 2.3× more live selling sessions than underperformers — and paired this with follower bases 3x larger (3.3M vs. 1.1M). That combination built stronger shopper trust, visibility, and conversion.

On TikTok, for some categories, leadership came down to one behavior: live selling.

Our 90-day Built to Scale study revealed a striking gap in certain categories:
👉 Leaders streamed 168 live sessions.
👉 Underperformers managed only 51.
👉 That’s more than 3x the live selling activity — and it created hundreds of extra moments to be seen, engaged with, and converted.

The takeaway? On TikTok, consistent live selling is the engine of leadership.

Our Built to Scale research revealed:
👉 Leaders maintained near 100% availability of top SKUs, compared to only 22% for the underperformers.
👉 Even 50%+ discounts couldn’t offset lost visibility due to out of stock issues.

On Lazada, availability = visibility. Discounts alone don’t decide leadership.
