Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and Rappler CEO Maria Ressa is set to receive the ‘Justice for Journalism’ award during the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s ‘Albie Awards’ on September 29, 2022 in New York.

‘Albie Awards’, named after South African activist, lawyer, writer, former judge and car bombing survivor Albert “Albie” Sachs, is spearheaded by Ressa’s international lawyer Amal Clooney and her husband actor George Clooney.
