We provide tangible expression of thoughtfulness to our loved ones through our Mass Cards and Annual Living Cards for all occasions. The Passionist Benefactors Society in the Philippines was established in 1980 to find financial resources that will sustain the growing community. the Regional Superior, assigned the soft spoken but very hard working Bro. Louie Bouchard, C.P., to ask of finding a regular source of income. Small, but extremely dedicated, he immediately thought of the people who offered masses for their loved ones for different occasions. “Why not a tangible expression of thoughtfulness like cards, prayer cards.” Bro. Louie was successful in establishing contacts with friends and supporters from the printing industry which provided him the necessary supplies and materials. On the marketing side, he was able to tap the right people who were more than willing to help him as Promoters. Many of them are still with us until now as avid Promoters of the Passionist Mass Cards. Louie was untiringly assisted by Sr. Pastora Salvador, and extern Carmelite nun. Their tandem brought in unmatched success both in their respective religious vocations as well as in terms of sales of Mass cards. Today, there are more than two hundred individuals and religious who are supporting, patronizing and selling our Mass Cards. After many years of active mission work, Bro. Louie’s health deteriourated and had to turn over the operation to Fr. William Pondo, C.P., The other directors who followed were Fr. Glen Maga, C.P., Bro. Bob McKenna, C.P., Fr. Emmanuel Gellez, C.P. Its present director is Fr. Esmade, C.P.

Remembering a Faithful Servant 🕯️

As the day comes to a close, we remember with gratitude
Fr. Antonio D. Saligan, CP—a faithful servant, a devoted Passionist, and a priest who gave his life in service of God and His people.

His earthly journey has ended, but the memories he left behind, the lives he touched, and his witness of faith will continue to live in our hearts.

Tonight, we remember not only his passing, but the beautiful gift of his life and vocation.

Rest in peace, Fr. Tony.

Your memory will remain, and your service will never be forgotten.

🕊️ Remembering Most Rev. Malcolm Lavelle, C.P. 🕊️ of The Passionists Holy Cross Province

Yesterday, we prayerfully remembered the death anniversary of Most Rev. Malcolm Lavelle, C.P., a devoted Passionist priest, missionary, servant, and leader.

We give thanks to God for the gift of his life and for the many years he faithfully served the Passionist Congregation and the Church. From Rome to Mandeville, the Philippines, and India, his missionary spirit, faith, wisdom, and dedication touched countless lives.

Though many years have passed, his witness of love and service remains a lasting part of our Passionist heritage.

🙏 May his memory continue to inspire us to live with faith, compassion, and devotion to Christ.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. 🕯️

🕯️ REMEMBERING WITH GRATITUDE | REV. FR. PETER O’ROURKE, C.P.
July 24, 1932 – August 23, 2017

Nine years ago today, we remember with gratitude the life and legacy of Rev. Fr. Peter O’Rourke, C.P., a Passionist priest whose life was devoted to serving God and accompanying His people.

From serving his country to answering the call to religious life, Father Peter spent decades faithfully living his priestly vocation—especially through his ministry as a hospital chaplain, where he brought prayer, compassion, and the comforting presence of Christ to those who were suffering.

His life reminds us that ministry is often found in simply being present: listening to another’s pain, offering a word of hope, and walking with those who need someone beside them.

Today, we honor his memory and give thanks for the gift of his life, vocation, and service. May his example continue to inspire us, as Passionists, to keep alive the memory of Christ’s Passion and to become bearers of hope to a suffering world.
