Today, I’m sharing a screenshot of my personal goal sheet which I got from an amazing person who helped me start my VA journey. This goal sheet meant so much because it was the first time I’d set solid goals—not just for myself, but for my family too. It became my roadmap, encouraging me to take action, even when it felt scary.
Looking back, before deciding to pursue a VA career, I remember hustling hard, balancing two small businesses—my baking biz and a hand-stamped personalized gifts biz. Since both are seasonal, I knew I needed a more consistent income stream, so I dove into learning everything I could about the VA world. I submitted portfolios to every opportunity, attended every interview and discovery call, and joined different groups to grow. Through it all, I reminded myself that my hardships were temporary, so I stayed faithful, hopeful, and positive as I worked to land my first client. And on this day last year, I began my journey as a VA!What a journey it’s been!🥹
To anyone out there who feels like I did a year ago: stay faithful, hopeful, and keep chasing your passions. So many of us are striving for balance, financial freedom, and meaningful work—and I’m here to tell you, it’s absolutely possible! Here’s to my 1-Year VA-versary! 🎉
