And to our modern-day heroes — our parents who sacrifice silently, our teachers, our OFWs, our soldiers, nurses, farmers, and every ordinary Filipino doing extraordinary acts of love for others — you are heroes too.

May we never forget that heroism isn't always grand. Sometimes, it's simply choosing to be good, to be brave, and to love our country in our own little way, every single day.
