Heroism lives over the pages of history!

Long before their names became part of our history, our heroes were Filipinos who chose courage when silence was easier, stood firm when surrender was tempting, and placed the country’s future above their own. Their sacrifices helped shape a nation whose freedom and identity continue to be carried by every generation.

Yet, their legacy is not confined to monuments, memorials, or stories we revisit each year. It lives in the values they left behind in the courage to speak for what is right, the compassion to serve others, and the conviction to contribute to something greater than ourselves.

As we honor the heroes who paved the way, may we also recognize the responsibility that comes with inheriting their legacy. Because the story of the Filipino hero does not end with them, it continues with us, in every choice we make to serve, lead, and shape the nation we hope to see.

As their chapters have been written, may their courage prevail what we can build.
