Adobong Manok at Baboy
Stewed Pork and Chicken in Vinegar and Soy Sauce

Ingredients:
500 g. pork belly
500 g. chicken parts
6 garlic cloves crushed
1/2 tbsp. black peppercorns, crushed
1/2 cup cane vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 bay leaves
Enough water to cover meat

Instructions:
1. In a pot, combine all ingredients.
2. Simmer for 20 mins.
3. Remove chicken and continue simmering until pork fat is rendered.
4. In another pan, fry the meat pieces with a bit of crushed garlic.
5. Add the sauce. Simmer until sauce has reduced.
6. Serve with archara (pickled papaya).
