Stop spending most of your time on Instagram!

If you are almost online on the gram and feel that you are somehow stuck on the growth of your account, then maybe you need an Instagram timer.

Here's what I do whenever I feel I put most of my time on my account that you could do too. Set a timer on your phone specifically for your:

💖 screen time and
💖 making graphics and content
💖 and engaging genuinely.

You will see changes not only on your account but also on yourself. We all have a life outside the gram, and we can still nourish while taking rest.

Today is your daily reminder that you should always choose and prioritize yourself.

You should know your worth, capabilities, achievements, potentials, and even your challenges.

Choosing yourself could mean:

🤗 saying no without feeling guilty
🤗 setting your boundaries and stick with it
🤗 giving gifts and appreciating you
🤗 and owning your peace and time

I hope right now you are choosing yourself. Not only today but also tomorrow, the next week, next month, and in upcoming years.

When will you get there?

As a person who is a dreamer and has many goals written on her vision board, I ask myself,
'if you'll just stare at your written goals and imagine it, when will it happen?' That's when it struck me that I needed to make moves. 😂

Heck, there's nothing wrong about dreaming your goals and wishing them to happens, but it is fulfilling seeing yourself crossing out your goals one by one because you did it. 🤩

And just this month, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and experience amazing things. 🥰
I started Shey Socials, which I am very passionate about because I could impact, share my knowledge, and be part of the community.

I find it hard going out of my shell, but growth never happens in your comfort. This action is tough yet happy. 💖

How to be social in the Gram without feeling tired?

Someone asked me this question yesterday because she felt she needed to rest from engaging with many accounts.

As an Instagram Manager, I understand that it is somehow tiring for some people to engage, and it's okay to take a break. 🥰

So today, let me share how I do it in my ways. And on how we can engage without feeling drained.

😉 Avoid spam comments.
😉 Stop trying hard.
😉 And always be intentional.

Instagram is a social platform, and we are here to engage genuinely. If you don't feel engaging, it's fine. We all have the option to choose whom we engage.

Are you talking to yourself?

Self-talk is the internal monologue that we have with ourselves, and this is our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

And practicing positive self-talk helps me a lot in my everyday life. Here are the things that changed me.

🥰 I've learned that it's okay to make mistakes and not beat myself thinking I am a failure. Our mistakes help us to grow as a human and became better.
🥰 Celebrate all my small wins and get the chances that I deserve.
🥰 And felt happy for the challenges and decisions I made because I know I am the one who's in control of my life.

There are still times when I feel in doubt and lost.
But when I grab a mirror and see myself, I always say, 'you are worth more than you think.'

Hi, it's me, Impostor Syndrome. 😫

I hate when you use your social media program to share mental health awareness and help therapists and coaches prosper in a community you are passionate about just because you don't get enough support before.

And it hit on the soft spot, so what I did was, sit with myself, acknowledge my emotions and write in my journal.

And to everyone who is experiencing impostor syndrome, you are amazing! And it won't make you less as a person. 🤗

Engagement is a must if you want to be successful on Instagram.

But wait, I thought it wouldn't save our gram?
I am confused. 🥴

Yes, engagement is a must, but if you don't have

🤷🏻‍♀️ a content calendar that your followers anticipate
🤷🏻‍♀️ relevant hashtags that could reach more
🤷🏻‍♀️ Instagram strategy and action plans
🤷🏻‍♀️ and the right mindset.

It will just make you visible.

Visibility is good, and there's nothing wrong with it, but if your goal is to grow your Gram, you should be ready to take action. 😉

When was the last time you took care of your physical health?

I am guilty of answering this question. I am not actively engaged in any exercises and just sitting for the whole time, but I am doing jump ropes and dreaming of achieving my jump milestones. 😂

Before, I thought physical health was only grabbing shoes, drinking eight glasses of water, and taking a jog; but it is also about your lifestyle, diet, habit, and hygiene.

While you could do something great as reading self-help books, doing your daily journal, and yoga for your mental health, you could also do these to be physically healthy:

✨ go for a walk for 30 minutes or get your jump rope. (jump rope is my lifesaver!)
✨ take a shower until you bye-bye to lines, sweat, and heat. 🛀
✨ Fuel your body with real food—veggie salads are my go-tos! 😊
✨ and take a nap until you feel your energy radiating in. 🌞😎

I am trying to be active as possible especially working from home, and hoping to get 1000 jump ropes every time every time I exercise. 😆

I'll drop this, 'keep your body healthy, so you can keep making your dreams happen.'

💖 Self-help books and taking a nap are my greatest joys.

💖 A lot of people thought I was an extrovert, but I’m an introvert even I was a psych and mass communication major back in college. 😉
