Today, I met these amazing people who came to check out this page to help them brand their business. At first, they are not familiar or don't know anything about branding. As much as I enjoy sharing with them how it works and sharing with them some ideas on the business. The thing I most enjoyed was hearing their stories.
"At first, we thought the rate was high for just a logo. We could just DIY it anyway."
"But when we hear you out on this meeting, and sharing the scope of the branding project; we didn't think about all the details you shared and how they will help us connect with our business. By hearing this from you it became clearer and makes us more excited to start the business."
Those words were such a relief that finally, someone understands that the business shouldn't just start with "just a logo". It should be a connection between you to your business and your business to your customers. And logo alone cannot do that.

A logo and a brand are not the same things. Most of the time (even me) thought that they are just the same. But NO! logo is just part of the brand.
A logo by itself is merely a graphic element with a name, a piece of a brand used in visual communication.
𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 is everything — tangible and intangible — that represents a business and gives its logo meaning. That's why I don't just ask questions, "what color do you prefer?". I have a series of questions to know the story of your business and how I will be able to create a concept for your brand.
I believe that a well-designed logo and clear branding help you effectively and efficiently reach your audience; communicate your message, your value, and benefits; visually attract more attention; and create extraordinary experiences.

TRY
Three letters make you better than others who stop trying and give up on their goals.
Lots of times we see ourselves fail, fall down and lose hope in what we do, and just give up on our dreams.
If you fail, admit it frankly. Assess and learn from the failures you had. Try another, try something never ever stop trying. You can rest, refresh and restart. Your failure will be a success someday. Your breakdowns will be breakthroughs. If you tried and still fail, try better, fail better then try even better.
I fail and lose lots of times. I'm still trying, learning, and keep on failing but, hell yeah I'm grateful for my progress every day.
Now, would you try just one more time? Better this time? I'm rooting for you! Let's do this!

As a designer, we face troubles sometimes and these are just a few.

𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗛
I'm sure lots of designers could relate to this. Like, "Hey laptop, what in the world? Seriously, right now? on my deadline?". Okay, I'm still saving to upgrade my laptop to avoid this. lol

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡
I have already discussed the maximum revisions that I will do. What's the problem with that font? I already have downloaded a hundred sets of fonts for this. Waaaah!! That's why during the discovery call with the onboard questionnaires we both need clarity on what your brand is all about to avoid this trouble.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗢-𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞/𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞
Yes, no feedback to a design is still trouble. Give me something my dear client, help me with the design. I only design, I ain't a mind reader or a magician so that we could avoid the unending revisions and we both meet our timeline.

Are you selling something? Ever check the market; how many of you have the same product or services? I'm sure you'll be surprised by the numbers and be intimidated by how they successfully offer their products.

That's why branding is crucial in every business. Nope, it does not stop you from having a logo. (It's not even the start)

Be unique, develop an image and voice that are wholly your own. Check your top competitors and see what's lacking in what they offer. From there, you can develop a unique value proposition. It's a necessary step if you don’t want to blend in with the competition.

Invest in the “personality” of your brand, and speak to customers the way you would speak to a friend. This builds a good customer relationship and creates loyalty to your products.

Understand your target market. Many times I have mentioned having a "target" market. To make it easier for you to understand them and their problems and make your products relatable to your target audience.

Have the courage to have boldness on your brand. Experiment with new techniques, or take a stance on controversial issues within the industry. It encourages more loyalty and respect from the people who stick around, and they never run the risk of being seen as “boring” or “just another brand.”

Make your brand as visible as possible. It's the only way to build your reputation from scratch.

Stand out by offering more value than your competitors (not just monetary value it could be another level of value). You might offer value in terms of better, more informative content, or a stronger dedication to personalized customer service. Think carefully about how best to appeal to your customers.
