BMX matters because it gives people a place to belong, express themselves, and grow even outside competition. 🇵🇭

For a lot of riders, BMX becomes more than just a bike. It teaches:

- resilience after failing tricks hundreds of times
- discipline through repetition
- creativity in finding lines and style
- respect within the riding community
- confidence, especially for younger riders

️It also creates community. Different backgrounds, ages, and skill levels ride together in the same space. 🤝

In many places, BMX keeps kids away from trouble because they have something meaningful to focus on.

Riders help keep parks alive by:

- bringing in more users
- building local scenes
- organizing jams and events
- creating content that promotes the park
- helping newer riders learn

BMX isn’t just bikes on ramps.
It’s community, progression, creativity, and belonging. 💯

WHAT IS A SKATEPARK?💡

A skatepark is a purpose-built facility designed for action sports. It is a space created for progression, creativity, physical activity, and community built with ramps, rails, bowls, ledges, transitions, and obstacles intended for riders and athletes who practice freestyle and movement-based sports.

Around the world, skateparks have become homes for different action sports communities such as:
• BMX
• Skateboarding
• Inline Skating
• Stunt Scooters

More than just a riding area, skateparks help:
✅️ build confidence and discipline
✅️ encourage healthy lifestyles
✅️ create friendships and community
✅️ provide positive outlets for youth
✅️ inspire creativity and progression

At the same time, safety and respect should always come first.

Every rider regardless of sport should:
• wear proper safety gear
• know their skill level
• respect park rules and fellow riders
• keep the park clean and safe
• practice awareness and proper park etiquette

This post is not about division between communities. 🤜🤛

This is about awareness, inclusion, and understanding what action sports culture truly represents. 💯👌

Different sports. Same passion. One community. 🫡

To our fellow BMX riders and action sports communities across the Philippines 🇵🇭
We recently saw that BMX bikes are currently not allowed in the newly built Quezon City skatepark, similar to many other skateparks around the country.

As riders, we fully respect park rules, safety regulations, and the skateboarding community.

However, we also hope that BMX riders can someday be given proper access to safe and legal riding spaces through designated schedules, BMX sessions, or more inclusive park policies.

BMX is more than just a hobby, it builds discipline, creativity, friendship, and keeps many young riders away from negative influences. Our community continues to grow, yet opportunities and spaces for BMX riders remain very limited.

This is not about conflict.
This is about representation, respect, and creating opportunities for the BMX community nationwide.

If you support safer and more inclusive spaces for BMX riders in the Philippines, let your voice be heard respectfully. Let’s show that the BMX community can organize professionally and positively.
