What's a CRAMP SIMULATOR?

The simulator contracts the muscles to imitate abdominal cramps, similar to what many experience during menstruation while still going about their daily activities.

This activity is popular in western countries and we wish to have it as well in the Philippines!

We support Gabriela Women's Party House Bill 7758, which seeks to grant menstrual leave of up to two days per month with full daily pay to all female employees in the private and public sectors. Filed by Gabriela party-list Rep. Arlene Brosas.

According to Gabriela, the bill seeks to provide women with the flexibility and support they need to manage their reproductive health without the fear of negative consequences such as losing pay, falling behind in work, or facing disciplinary action.

The discrimination faced by someone menstruating may be small or large, but it is harmful regardless of whether it's a lighthearted joke or the perpetuation of a belief that isn't true.

As a joke, period stigma manifests with accusations that a person is PMS-ing or menstruating if they are perceived as behaving in a sensitive, sharp, or aggressive manner.

Politicians have claimed that menstruating people don't function as well at work—an idea that has no basis in reality.

There is even stigma and misinformation around sanitation supplies themselves, such as the notion that using a tampon will "take" someone's virginity.
