We are the Ateneo Association of Communication Majors (ACOMM), the university's premier media organization and home to all Communication Majors.

We are the Association of Communication Majors (ACOMM), honing competent and socially responsible media practitioners that uphold the values of service, development, and love for communications! We provide various skills and opportunities necessary to develop competent and socially responsible media experts ready for today's dynamic media landscape. We develop the skills of more than 400 Communica

tion majors through projects and efforts in different fields such as Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Production and Media studies. Our goal is to foster professionalism among our members. In line with ACOMM’s goal to deliver media with discipline, we also offer services which cater to the community's media needs. ACOMM houses its very own production unit, MIRLab and the university's first student-run internet radio, Magis Radio.

These words from Sir JC Gotinga really captured the pulse of 𝗧𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗸: 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗯 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮. We were so lucky to hear from both him and Miss Beatrice Go, who gave us a lot to think about regarding the state of journalism today.

As March of Women comes to a close, ACOMM honors the women in communication and communication’s role in amplifying their marginalized and underrepresented voices.

We stand in solidarity with every woman making their voice be heard. In a time where women’s narratives are constantly challenged, ACOMM reaffirms its commitment to creating competent communicators who shed light on the key sociopolitical issues that have compounded and hindered women’s empowerment and representation.

March of Women is presented by the Sanggunian: Commission on Gender Equality, in collaboration with the University Gender Hub and the University Gender Development Office.
