𝗣𝗙𝗖𝗖𝗢-𝗡𝗖𝗥 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 🌱

The PFCCO-NCR Women’s Group, together with its primary cooperative, composed of 30 dynamic women and staff members, recently visited the 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 at 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮.

A project was initiated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗷𝗶𝗮 during the pandemic, they turned available spaces into a productive green hub growing fresh vegetables and herbs. Through her leadership and focus on sustainable farming, the garden provides affordable, chemical-free produce, creates livelihood, and strengthens community bonds. It serves members and nearby residents, and our group also purchased fresh harvest during the trip.

This success reflects Ms. Mejia’s vision and the cooperative’s mission to serve the community. It proves urban gardening is more than a hobby, it is a sustainable way to nourish people and bring communities together.

Also, a big thanks to the whole Holy Cross Savings and Credit Cooperative- the BOD, Officers, Management, and Staff for the very warm welcome and always accommodating our request visit.

And of course, to all the Juana who get out of their busy schedule to be with us and learn the benefits of Urban Gardening.

Ngayong taon, buong puso nating pinararangalan ang ating mga MIYEMBRO na nanguna, naglakas-loob, at nagbigay ng oras at kakayahan upang mabuo at higit pang mapagtibay ang mga ADVOCACY GROUPS sa kani-kanilang primary cooperatives.

Batid po namin na hindi madaling maglaan ng panahon, pondo, at sakripisyo para sa mga ganitong adbokasiya. Ngunit dahil sa inyong malasakit, dedikasyon, at tunay na diwa ng kooperatibismo, maraming pangarap ang nabigyang-boses at maraming buhay ang nabigyang-pag-asa. ✨

Kayo po ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon at patunay na ang pagkakaisa at malasakit ay may kakayahang magdulot ng tunay na pagbabago sa ating komunidad. Sa bawat programang inyong inilunsad at sa bawat kabataang at kababaihang inyong binigyang-lakas, mas lalo ninyong pinagtibay ang adhikain ng kooperatiba para sa mas makatao, makabuluhan, at mas inklusibong kinabukasan.

Kaya naman, nang may lubos na galak, pagmamalaki, at taos-pusong pasasalamat, aming kinikilala ang mga sumusunod na kooperatiba bilang huwaran ng matibay na pakikiisa sa mga adbokasiya para sa mga KABATAAN at KABABAIHAN ng Kooperatiba. 💙💛

Maraming salamat sa inyong walang sawang paglilingkod at patuloy na pagiging daan upang mas maraming buhay ang maabot, mapalakas, at mabigyang inspirasyon. Padayon sa pagpapalaganap ng diwa ng kooperatibismo! ✨
