Last week, we held our Steady Rise SDG Solutions Challenge, isang activity na nagsimula bilang internal team exercise, pero naging mas meaningful kaysa sa inaasahan namin.
Our team was asked to look at some of the biggest challenges around us: poverty, hunger, decent work, clean energy, climate action, and strong institutions, and answer one simple question:
Bilang Steady Rise Advertising, paano tayo makakatulong?
SRA is a small company. Hindi kami malaking corporation, wala kaming unlimited resources, at hindi namin kayang solusyonan ang lahat ng problema.
Pero naniniwala kami na being small does not mean we cannot make a difference.
Minsan, ang kailangan lang ay gamitin kung ano ang meron tayo, our creativity, our network, our skills, our time, and our willingness to help.
Especially ngayon, when so many Filipinos are affected by floods, disasters, and the uncertainty that comes with them, at kasabay pa ng mga discouraging news tungkol sa corruption and misuse of public funds, nakakapagod minsan magbukas ng social media at puro bad news ang nakikita.
So we wanted to create something hopeful.
Hindi para magpanggap na kaya naming ayusin ang lahat.
But to remind ourselves that we can still choose to do something good.
We can use our creativity to educate.
Our network to connect people.
Our skills to amplify causes.
Our resources to support communities.
And our business to create impact beyond business.
We are so proud of all our teams for taking this challenge seriously and presenting ideas that came from a genuine desire to help.
And after combining the judges’ scores, we had a tie for the highest overall score! 🏆💛
We would like to sincerely thank our judges, Ms. Aira Cordova, Ms. April Mercado, and Sir Kevin Placer, for sharing their time, insights, and thoughtful feedback with our team. Your perspective helped make this challenge more meaningful for everyone.

Pero para sa amin, hindi dito nagtatapos ang challenge.
Our goal is to take the winning ideas, and hopefully some of the other good proposals too, and find ways to turn them into real projects for real people.
Maliit lang ang SRA, but maybe that is exactly where meaningful change can start.
One small company.
One small team.
One good idea.
One community at a time.
And hopefully, with your help, we can do more.
